Good size for growing boy
Grandson loves it. He has outgrown several bikes over the years and this one should last him for several years.

Shame on Amazon for labeling this “Amazons Choice”
I really hate writing a bad review, I have a business and I understand when idiots want to rant about nonsense to get money back. That’s not why I am here. I am here because I just want to save others from going through what I went through. I almost always read reviews before I buy, but I didn’t on this one because I trusted the “Amazon’s Choice” label that’s put next to the rating. I figured I can’t go wrong. I don’t know pricing on bikes, and I take responsibility for that, if I knew that the price would lead to me saying “you get what you pay for” I would have bought a nicer bike, which, I’m going to have to end up doing now anyway. This bike is junk, it might as well be sitting in a dump somewhere. It’s garbage. I’ve ridden it maybe 4 times. Every single time I ride it (I’ve been trying to ride for about an hour to get a decent work out), every time I ride this bike the handle bar comes loose. The first time it came so loose it was just flopping around and almost falling off, I couldn’t believe it. I thought maybe I didn’t tighten it enough. So each time now before I ride, I have to tighten it as much as possible and every single time by the end of the hour it’s coming loose. Now on my last ride yesterday, not only was the handlebar coming loose, the left pedal is falling off. Keep in mind I’m not doing bike stunts or tricks, I’m not mountain biking on crazy trails. I am riding my bike around boston on flat easy to ride bike trails that aren’t strenuous. I am a novice rider who is barely even pushing the limits of the bike yet this piece of trash is falling apart right from under me as I ride it gently around bike trails in the city. It’s kind of a joke. Don’t waste your money, seriously. Spend a little more and get a real bike. Now I will have to do the same and just eat the loss because the return policy doesn’t let me return it anymore and I haven’t even had it a month. Enjoy the money you robbed me of, huffy, you’ll never get another dollar from me ever again.

First time bike purchase online experience
I gave this bike 4-star base on it’s price and quality. It could be 2 stars if that’s a 300+ price but a bike for just 160 I don’t have much to complain. It’s perfect for my situation as a beginner to enjoy parks and easy bike trail in CA. Things I like about this bike: it’s light weight although it’s steel frame, all parts in good shape, come with tools to assemble, paint looks good, and easy to work on, 21 gear to select, And good price. Overall it’s really nice to buy for a beginner trail biker, but you should avoid using it for some serious hard trail biking or downhill, that’s not what it made for. Things I don’t like: one of the sticker is a little peel off; seat is not comfort after just 10mins riding, I’ll probably switch it to a better one; The third major gear takes longer than the first two gear to hook on; after suspension reach the bottom point, seems like it stays there and won’t release itself back( for this I’m not sure if that’s how it works so I’ll leave a question mark). Bike isn’t that hard to assemble cuz major parts were ready, it’s my first time to put a bike together and I follow every steps on YouTube, only thing that vedio missing is to put the chain on. But you do need to adjust both front& back brakes.

Solid Structure, Sleek, Well Built>AFFORDABLE........
WOW, It took me a FULL Week to decide which Huffy sized Bike I would buy. I originally was going to purchase the 20 inch til I saw for a "girl" I assumed this meant a child. YES I am short 5 feet. So then I went looking for a 22 inch.I could not find one.Now my 2 brothers growing up had the sting ray cool looking Huffy bikes. So I strictly surfed HUFFY Mountain Bikes still NO 22 inch, what did I know, I have not ridden a bike in 37,38 years, lol, lol. The info on inches and heights was there right in front of me..This AWESOMELY made, relatively easy to put together, took about 1 1/2 hours>PERFECT!. I watched the video which clearly walks you through the entire process. OH My the Crisp Red color,The sleek cool looking awesomely light weight solid structured fit me to the TEEEEE...This Bike is NOW in my TOP 3 items I have ever purchased on Amazon..that I cherish the most..The cost is nothing compared to how I/We/You are going to feel proudly riding on this Bike. I rate this Huffy Mountain 21 Speed, 24 inch Huffy Bike a Perfect "20"....Now instead of driving to Lake Champlain I will ride there....

Perfect trail cruiser with a few upgrades
I’m a bigger guy (6’ 240lbs) and this bike has been great so far. I was worried it would fall apart after a few runs but it has held up great for well over 2 dozen rides. It took a bit to get the gears shifting properly but i have them dialed in now with no hesitation or skipping EVER which surprised me. 3 things I would recommend: First I bought a nice wide, soft seat which makes a huge difference as the stock one is like sitting on a skinny rock. Second I bought wider, longer hand grips. My hands were hanging off sides of the ones that came stock. Lastly, and what helped me enjoy this bike the most was upgraded metal spiked pedals. The stock ones are plastic and my feet were sliding off them constantly especially on wet days. Probably spent a total of 75 bucks on all the upgrades and it was well worth it. I’m not jumping off any cliffs or anything just cruising through the bumpy woods and this bike has been perfect for that.

Brakes are too short
EDIT 10/22 The seat broke. It keeps tilting back when I sit on it. I literally cannot tighten the nuts anymore. The seat is going to have to be replaced. Really pisses me off. This is a pretty good bike. I got this bike after spending years riding my mon's old Giant(which costs about $500 in today's money), and while it doesn't quite measure up to that one, it still feels pretty comfortable. It rides smoothly, and the gears are noticeably different from each other. I switch gears a lot when going against the wind or going up or down hill, so it was important the gears worked well. I brought it to a bike shop to put together instead of doing it myself to avoid any problems from poor assembly. Early on I had an issue with the right brake sticking, and I took it to the bike shop that put it together but it unstuck at that point and the bike shop couldn't see any problem. The brake hasn't stuck since, so it could just be that the bike needed breaking in. A bigger issue with the brakes is that they're simply too short. I can't comfortably rest my fingers on them when I'm riding (which you should always do to be safe). I can only really get one finger on them. The brakes are only half the size of the handle, and the inner part of the handle is taken up by the gear mechanism, so I can't put my hands any closer to the brakes without accidently changing the gears. Seeing as this is a women's bike, and women have smaller hands then men, this is strange. It's a minor issue though. Overall I'm really happy with this bike, especially considering I didn't have much of a choice since it seems there's a bike shortage because of the pandemic.
