PhysiciansCareEye Wash Solution, Sterile Isotonic Buffered Solution for Flushing & Irrigating Eyes, 32-oz Bottle

I've been using this stuff for years to wash out my eyes before putting in my contacts. It makes a world of difference to put your contacts into CLEAN eyes; with this solution and an eyewash cup I clean my eyes out in advance and my contacts are great all day. The label says 'for one time use only'; well I won't tell you what to do but I use the same bottle for months, a fraction of an ounce a day. I just make sure to close it up right away after pouring some into my eye wash cup. (I'm not going to pour the stuff all over my eyes like I just got splashed with acid, which I think is what the mfr has in mind.) This is the best value per ounce that I have been able to find for this product.

I have a bad habit of not looking at the size of what I purchase. This bottle is huge. That being said the eye wash is great. I got travel size empty bottles and filled them up!

I needed several of these to replace some older ones of a different brand that were starting to fall apart after about 8 years. They do the job, but I expect I will have to replace them sooner rather than later.UPDATE 2016: As expected, the bottles start fall out after they are taken out a few times and the friction is weakened. The actual bottles are not great. In a true eye wash emergency, they would be very difficult to open. First, you need to open the plastic shrink-wrap on the cap, then open the cap, then locate the separate eye cup and attach it to the bottle. I will be replacing about 4 of these this year. I believe I will still buy this item again due to the price.UPDATE 2018: It is a good thing these are as cheap as they are, because they crack if you look at them the wrong way. The labels fade and peel so quickly, that I've taken to making my own labels to put over them. I buy a few every year to replace the worst of them, and really it is just a way to maintain compliance at the lowest possible price point.Pros:- Nice bright color, makes it visible in the workplace- Fits most 32 oz eye wash bottles, even those that are not the same brand- Much cheaper than other eye wash stationsCons:- Easily damaged. The plastic is very thin (I'd say thinner than a credit card and not as strong) and cracks under relatively minor pressure- Inconsistent quality (I ordered several of these and 2 of them were missing their mounting screws, 1 of them had a severely warped edge, and 1 of them had a crack in the bottle that caused all the solution to leak out in transit.)- Only holds the bottle in by friction. Due to this and the weak plastic, I imagine that after a few uses it will no longer hold bottles securely.- The labels fade VERY quickly in sunlight.Summary: Cheap and easily broken but does the job and meets workplace safety requirements for a small amount of money.

Very effective. Large supply. Nice prince. Get good cups to go with the product.

You can "see" how much I use this stuff!--------------32 ounces of eyewash...times 27 bottles of this specific one, purchased over the years. That was after purchased over a couple hundred of the little bottles from the store at around $5 per little bottle. Discovering eyewash wayyyyyyy back around 15-20 years ago when my eyes were so angry that I wanted to take them out and rinse them under the sink, I went through one of those small little bottles every week. My eyes will not function in the morning without eyewashing. Then I discovered this large bottle and probably did cry a little because this is equivalent to 8 of the little bottles and NOT at 8 times the price. I refuse to do the math of how much money I spent on the small bottles. So here we are today, with Amazon letting me know I purchased this item 27 times, so I figured I would share that. 27 times this eyewash has been spot on. I can wash my eyes out multiple times a day if I want and not cry about the cost. This bottle can last me a couple months easily, it's easy to pour from, and I have not had any issues arise after using 27 bottles of this. Not sure there is much else to say other than if you are an eyewash user, this is the way to go. I can see clearly now, the fog is gone.

I use it for washing my eyes every day. It makes my eyes feel soothing.

My eyes are tired of looking at computer screens for 35 years doing my job. My eye MD told me to wash my eyes out up to 6 times a day. I found this and use it daily and had it OK'd by my eye MD and use it 2 to 3 times a day in a eye cup for a complete eye wash and my eyes have recovered from years of abuse!
