This guide contains everything from history to local areas to eat and stay. Great illustrations that are straightforward and easy to read. Size and weight are acceptable for taking along on an excursion. Indexed in back of book with color maps that make finding what you are looking for quick and easy. Includes a small section on environment and nature that includes mammals, reptiles and fish, birds, trees, color pictures of common flowers. Each town and city on the route is laid out with maps and line maps of the routes showing where to eat, stay and other points of interest. All round a great guide for this venture. Even if you aren’t planning on doing the walk, this book is a great source of information.

The detailed maps and thorough descriptions are invaluable if you're interested in walking the trail. We, horror of horrors, ripped out pages of the book for each day of our walk and carried those in an easy-access pocket. We really relied on the book for so much of our walk (September 2018), that I can't say enough good about it.

Very detailed information—much more than I’ve seen on line. Covers all the bases with respect to lodging, food, gear, side trips... it’s all good. We’ve been thinking of doing this, but haven’t set a date yet, so perfect to get the history along with the details of the walk.

Very helpful and chock-full of information, with detailed maps, mileage calculators, and suggestions for lodging, camping and eating along each stretch. Follows an east-to-west path. We saw many walkers carrying this book.

Ich liebe diese Wanderführer. Ich habe schon den für den South West Coast Path und mich deswegen für diesen entschieden. Die Informationen sind super und sehr aktuell. Habe mich schon ein bisschen eingelesen und kann ihn nur wärmsten empfehlen.Wer Karten besser lesen kann als ich (und davon wird es viele geben) wird sich noch einfacher mit den gezeichneten Karten zurecht finden als ich. Aber mit denen komme sogar ich fast ans Ziel :-).Von mir also ein sehr empfehlenswert.
