I'm fairly satisfied with this light. Overall it works close to how it was advertised but does come up short in a couple of spots. If you cook outside in the winter in higher latitudes where it gets dark early (like me), this will help but it's not a perfect product... especially if your grill is on the larger end. I'll get straight to the pros and cons:Pros:- It's bright enough to really help show you what you're doing- The attachment point allows for fairly small grill handles which had been a problem in past purchases of other lights, this one gets it right.- For small to medium grills, this will probably provide all the light you need.- The touch sensor for the light turns on really easily.Cons:- If your grill is deep or you have a round smoker... the arm on the light isn't long enough to illuminate the back 5-7 inches of the grill. You can see in the attached picture how there are a lot of dark spots.- Once you anchor the light to the handle, it only swivels up and down, so you can't aim left or right.- it won't light up all of a large grill... it covers a lot but because of the prior two items, it leaves areas dimly lit.. not a deal breaker as I usually move things around but it's reality.- The touch sensor turns on REALLY easily. I'm constantly having to turn it back off because my hand brushed it inadvertently.

Ok so the delivery was prompt and on time. No issues, thank you!The light works as needed. you place the grip on the grill handle and screw down the clamp on the grill handle. There's a rubber piece that protects the clamp to the grill handle. That rubber piece came off within a week. I guess the Florida heat melted the glue holding down rubber piece to the clamp. It still works fine. There was one time it rained on us and the light fixture got wet during the rain. For some reason the light didn't turn back on, but the next day it worked again. It's been over a month now and this still works and lights up pretty well. We'd use it again, all we need is to see what we're grilling without a 3rd hand, ha! It gets the job done.

My Weber Grill lights - the one's that clamp onto the chrome bar handle - have failed to work more than 2 months, before they either get waterlogged, or bulge into a ball from the grille heat. I paid way too much for the Weber name for a totally inferior product, so I was primed to find a good grill light.. The Grillinator light was great for brightness and one light (double lens) seemed to light up what I needed. The main problem (at least on a Weber Summit) is the mounting options are poor. The light has to be adjusted every time the lid is opened so it doesn't crash into the grill knobs. But the worse part, is the hair-trigger on-off switch. Since I installed the light a couple months ago, I've replaced batteries 4 times! Why? Because when I turn around to carry my perfectly grilled fillet's into the house, I look back and the Grillinator light has turned back on - BY ITSELF!! A ghost? I wondered? No, I think it was merely the wind blowing across the circular push-button on-off switch. A better design would be a stiff sliding on-off switch or an old fashioned toggle switch... or even an inactivity mode that sensed no-motion for.. say 30 minutes.. then switches off automatically.... I probably wouldn't recommend this thing. I'd rather rig up a bare incandescent build, and hang it from a tree over the grille than have to fight this haunted LED battery leech.... chalk it up to experience and move on I suppose.

Bought this for my grillin' hubby for Father's day--he loves it! We often grill year-round and in the Midwest it gets dark around 4:30 in the fall and winter, so it's nice to have a light to see what's being cooked and to check on doneness. It clips nicely on to the handle of the grill. I gave it a 4-star rating because the on-off switch requires a very light touch. In some ways, that is a plus, esp. if your hands are messy and you don't want to have to push a button. However, it is easily bumped, and the other day I noticed it was on, even when no one was around the grill. Not sure how it happened, but you do need to watch that carefully if you want the batteries to last a while. It is a nice bright light, though, and we look forward to using it a lot this fall and winter!

Positives: the light is nice and bright, installation is a breeze and batteries were included in the packageNegatives: the light protrudes so far it’s hitting the grill (Weber Genesis) anytime the lid is closed needing readjustment every time. It also doesn’t turn off automatically on closing the lid requiring the it to be turned on / turned off every time. Basically it’s a glorified flashlight that can attach to grill handle, that’s all.

We just recently got a new grill and so I thought I'd surprise my DH with this grill light (although watching him grill with a flashlight clamped between his teeth was quite amusing :)This one seemed to get the best reviews and I liked the lifetime warranty, so why not.Turns out this really is a great light, it fits on our Weber grill handle just fine, we don't even have to remove it for to put the cover on. It lights up the whole grill perfectly and the fact that the switch is actually a touch switch is a great idea!!! just a simple tap turns it off and on, easy to do with one finger, no need to grab ahold of the light and "push" a switch.But one of the things I really loved about the light was the packaging, now while that might not seem like a big deal, when you get the light READ the box. These guys obviously like to have fun and enjoy what they do, sounds like a great company to work for and support.

This is the solution I was looking for, and I am delighted. Only tiny beef is that I have to swivel it out of the way each time I lower the lid as it would otherwise slam against the bottom of the grill. No big problem, the light is so efficient and effective, I will keep it, but just remember to swivel. Easy move, even with an elbow when hands are full.

I'll be contacting the company in hopes of getting a replacement with their No Hassle Guarantee. The Grill Light works great in all respects but for the fact that the lenses are not heat resistant. My charcoal grill typically gets up to 500+ degrees and the plastic lenses have melted. The lights still work and the housing is completely intact but a better lens is required to stand up to higher temperatures. If you attach the light to the grill lid handle as is intended, there really isn't a lot you can do to shelter the lens from high heat; a more resilient material is required. This is obviously a major flaw but otherwise a good product.Update: I contacted the company re: their No Hassle Guarantee. Three days later a new Grill Light arrived on my doorstep. I'm impressed - a company that stands behind their product without reservation or fine print exclusions.

This grill light has been a godsend. We grill all seasons, including during the snowy winter months.This is actually our second purchase of this same light as our grill caught fire and melted the first one! We were shocked that it was actually still working, even in it's melted state! Decided to put it to rest though and purchase a new one! :)

This really is a strong light and well suited for it's purpose. With our design of bar-b-que, we have to raise the light up and down in order to miss contact with the control knobs every time we open and close the grill top. Although the product claims to be weather resistant, we have been cautious enough to remove it when the meal is done. Therefore I cannot speak to that mfg claim. The on/off button is quite nice as it only requires a touch as opposed to depressing a button which could be a source of water intrusion. It's not more convenient but increases the belief that it may actually be weather resistant over all.Shipping was fast and the product was well packaged. I would buy this light again.

The light works great. It's very bright. Unfortunately the piece that is tightened down to grip the grill handle is missing. This makes the light unusable without a different way to secure the light to the handle. I did buy a returned item but the description stated the light was only missing batteries. I expected to be able to use the light after adding batteries.

I was going to have an electrician run flood lights outside on my patio because at night, its just impossible to see if the chicken or steaks are cooked on the grill. I would use my droid phone flashlight which is a royal pain.I found out about these lights and figured I would give it a try since its way less expensive than running electric and paying for flood lights. One concern I had is that my weber grill came with similar lights and did not last very long at all and was not really that bright.I read the reviews of others and took a chance. They are so great. I bough two of them as I have a big grill and this really did the job. They really are so bright and do light up my entire Weber Grill. They are also made much better than the weber version and much brighter.If you need this, get it, you wont regret it.

This is a very good grill light. Very bright. I like the touchpad switch,it is handy when you are busy and your hands are not able to grab the thing to turn it on/off. This ease allows keeping it off when not needed thus saving battery life.The handle clamp is easy to use and holds firmly. Adjustments are easy to make, however, I think that the shaft should be an inch longer. On my BBQ the body of the light hits the bottom edge of the lid. This restricts positioning of the light somewhat. Ability of the head to rotate would be nice too.In the past I have had many LED BBQ lights fail.I finally decided that heat was what was killing them. So now I try to keep it off to one side or the other. This light is bright enough to do that & a little more flexibility would help.

Does exactly what is claims and very well. They also write the best follow-up satisfaction letter! The light is bright, attaches easily and securely to the grille handle, and moves nicely to aim for use or to just get out of the way when the lid closes when not being used. It takes a moment to realize the power on/off is just a touch surface and not a "click" button, but then it's all very easy to use and benefit from. It's not water proof, but the easy fit allows it to be protected by our grille cover.

This is a great light and lights up your grill really well. What's even better is the customer service and Lifetime warranty. I inadvertently left mine out in a pretty heavy rain and it quit. All it took was a simple email and a replacement was on it's way. It seems to be "new and improved" over my old one.
