With the move to deeper mattresses sheets have also gotten deeper. I have some old shallower depth (expensive) pure linen bedding I love so my last mattress purchase was shallower depth. But of course any newer fitted sheets, even those with extra mid depth elastic strips, consistently slide up loose. I purchased these, hoping to keep the fitted sheets in place. They were not successful. I am however using them on a daybed where a fitted sheet is over the "box spring" frame to make it match to cover on the top mattress.
