Absolutely love the magnifying glass. Light weight, easy to use. The lighted area makes it much easier to see in rooms that have little to no lighting. Great for working on art projects that are very small since I suffer from cataracts and waiting to have surgery. The rechargeable cord is a plus so you don’t have to be buying batteries all the time.

My dad has macular degeneration and I was hoping this would help him read. The nature of the disease made reading still difficult but he said it was great for images that he couldn’t see clearly before. Easy to hold. Nice magnifier.

I really like this magnifier. It is quite lightweight, hence easy to hold. I appreciate that the battery is built in and rechargeable, hence no need to have replaceable batteries on hand, and making it as lightweight as it is. I just have to be sure to turn the light control switch until it CLICKS when turning it off, or it'll stay on very low brightness so that it's not noticeable, and hence drains the battery. It covers/magnifies pretty much all of a standard book-size page. The surrounding light, imbedded in the frame, is really bright, so reading in a dark room works fine. I saw one review speaking of light reflections that make it hard to use. I've discovered that when I use it in low light, with no bright lighting in the area, there are minimal to no reflections. This magnifier is making it possible for my 86-yr. old eyes to read text that is very small without tiring my eyes.

I wanted a magnifier with a lens that was GLASS! Beware! The description specifically says that the lens is glass. It is NOT. It is not only plastic, but such a poor quality plastic that you can see the distortion lines on it. Going back immediately. Amazon should check sellers' descriptions before they are allowed to false advertise. Complete waste of my money and time.

This item awesome. My Mother is 99 years old and she was having a problem see the print. Now, she can see the print in the dark because of the light. She is so happy.

Every time I charge the light battery it works great but the next day no light because the dang battery won’t hold aCharge or is shorting out I mean every single time, so I’d have to say pick another brand!!!!!

She’s 98 and still kicking. This allows her to read regular books without strain.

Does not delivery "clear and distortion free" vision. It's cheap plastic and has etched swirl pattern which delivers hazy image. I am returning and looking for real glass. Waste of money
