Lucas Oil 10278 Engine Oil Stop Leak - 1 Quart

Just purchased a used 2009 Mini Cooper S, and discovered that they have a history of oil leaks, and seal issues.I put this product into my initial oil change, and crossed my fingers. . . .hoping it would help! Now, after a few hundred miles of local trips, and after purchasing a galvanized drip pan, to keep my garage floor clean, I first noticed a few oil drips in my pan, after some local trips, but now. . . . . . . that pan is spotless! No drips!! No leaks, as before, under the oil filter area!!Looks like this stuff works!! Give it a try!

The rear main seal was leaking on my Z71. I added a quart of this stop leak and it greatly reduced the oil leak.

My pan is coming off loose on my mower and you have to pull the engine so i been adding a little to it each time i refill. It does seem to have slowed down the leaking almost in half. Off season vs season for a mower repair might be an entire month or more before i got it back, so had to try something to keep it going. This seemed to have did its job.

Use as much as needed, it does thicken up the oil a lot, so if using the entire bottle, maybe use a grade thinner motor oil. It has worked well and not harsh

I normally dont write reviews but I needed to on this Lucas product. I never have any luck with stop leak anything, but I've used Lucas oil stabilizer for years and have always liked their products. This year I tried their stop oil leak product on my old Ford truck. It has a 460cid motor with 170k miles on it. It's all stock no major work done to it. It had a major oil leak from the rear main seal, and I'm to lazy to do all the work to change the seal. So I tried the stop leak and it to my surprise it stopped the leak 100% no bs. I couldn't believe it so I tried it in my Mini Cooper as well. It has well over 200k and leaked a lot of oil. I'm not sure where the leak is, so on my last oil change I added the stop leak. It reduced the leak 95% it could be a 100% and the few drips may be left over oil on the chassis. I totally recommend Lucas stop oil leak! Actually all the Lucas oil products are second to none.
