My daughter started a new job and had been wrestling with a very heavy door to a freezer. She needed to go in the freezer often during her work shifts. The restaurant where she works, did not provide any doorstop for her… It was pretty annoying! I purchased a the usual rubber stoppers and by one day they were ruined because they were way too flimsy and cheapskate So I ordered these and they are much more heavy duty and sturdy and keep the big freezer drawer open when she needs it. she is ecstatic. Apparently these doors are very heavy. The stopper really works great!!

A nicely made, "chonky" doorstop. It has a clean, clear finish and has a smooth metal shell. It has a textured/rubbery bottom. Our entry door in the foyer has a high gap and this works fine. It also works great on other/lower-gapped doors. It is a high-end piece and would look great in a pricier home or office. It does not "flex" or compress with an internal spring as other designs do. It is a solid, nice-to-handle item. Excellent value for the price!

Works fine on wood door. That is #1 Door stop Used a 2nd one on a concrete surface, but it slides too much... Need a larger one for that particular door

Heavy duty and works well on outdoor gate.

I have been very happy with the stopper, I use to keep my aluminum pool gate propped open and it sits on concrete. It stays in place well and has not moved due to weather. Although larger than a normal door stopper, it was smaller than I expected so it does not look bulky and awkward at all. I only needed it to be a couple of inches off the ground so fits my needs perfectly. It is a nice color and blends right in with my black gate, I would recommend you give it a try if size fits your needs.

Really does not hold the door open. It is a large solid wood door so perhaps if you have a lightweight door this may help.

I like the door stop, it is bigger than most, made very well, looks great and has a holder you can adhere to the wall if you would like for when it is not in use. However, it does not stay in place, it slides. Yes, I did make sure the surface it is on is clean, yes, I did wet the bottom of the doorstop etc...and yes, it still slides when the door pushes against it.

This door stop is fantastic! Nice and tall and can handle any gap between the door and the floor. It's sturdy and the rubber is soft enough to really stick to the door and hold it in place, and so far, I've had no problems using it on smooth, large tile surfaces. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone who is looking for a sturdy high door stopper.
