Excellent set that starts with tried and true old style basics
I'm an electrical engineer, and when I began with electronics around age 10, I used a simple kit that included basic switches, wires, resistors and electromagnets. It was old school, ... but old school taught the basics in a very lucid manner that made the concepts of voltage, current, and resistance stand out. In today's world, there are sets like Snap Circuits, but the only lesson that most children take away from those kits, ... is how to snap stuff together. They are not learning the proper conceptualization behind V= IR. Snap Circuits teaches nothing about the total flowing number of electrons per unit time (the current), .. nor does it give children a good idea of how watts actually means the amount of electrical work done (or how this can be expressed as an easy integral). This kit begins with the most basic of basics, ... one battery, one wire and one light bulb. From there it progresses through 17 different important aspect of simple circuits. And the components are high quality and arranged neatly. Each experiment demonstrates a clear concept even to children who typically find electronics and electricity confusing. I have used this set with my son for almost two years now, and I would rate it five stars. Good for parents and excellent for schooling supplementation.

Perfect for kids & adults to gain knowledge!!
I bought this for myself so I can learn more about electrical circuit’s & components. I am a 100% hands on learner so books & online classes are no help to me. I am a 26 year old mechanic. Electrical work has never been my specialty so I bought this to learn and better my skills. This kit is absolutely amazing and worth every penny, by far the best kit to buy.

Interresting kit
The parcel was partially damaged (or have been opened by the PostOffice?) but all the items were complete. The booklet is in English which surprised me a bit but the text is clear and easily comprehensible. All the items are of good quality and conform with the description. The goal of the kit should be satisfying.

Great Educational Kit
Very nice clear and basic STEM kit. The instruction book was surprisingly well written with clear experiments and exercises. For the younger kids, it offers them their first opportunity to see the value of a data table and learn how to create and interpret a simple graph. My set came with a malfunctioning compass and was missing the horseshoe magnet. This issue was addressed by Teenii within 24 hours. Great customer service/support. Will probably be buying their associated optics kit after we finish with the electronics and magnetism kit.

It is very useful and funny and good made kite

Decent but incomplete
The parts aren’t all there. I have a missing piece a solenoid. And the copper tube is not copper it resembles brass and as a result it doesn’t work.

For young inventors
My son got set for his 7th birthday. Is not yet in the age recommendation but good. He is interested in switches and the meters. He has a lot of fun connecting the elements. He does not use the book in a grand manner. He did not use the magnet that great, though. He can work on it for hours and build circuits and have fun with it. I can also explain a lot to him. Nice set and a nice toy for my son.

Only good if you are expert in electricity or have no need for guide/instructions
Obviously designed and made in China with zero American input. Translations and terminology errors throughout. Funniest is the use of "preciously" in place of what should be "precisely". So, yes, there is some fun about it but a licensed American electrician would shake their head throughout book. Predictions section in each chapter come AFTER experiment but does not restrict section to just predictions so it is not as simple as always rearranging section order. Book binding intrudes on words on page which leads to constant battle on each page. One device required repair with super glue, knife, and drill bit. A lot of modifications for a small very basic designed 4 piece plastic device. 4 bulbs in kit look identical but are different voltage and thus can lead to misleading experiment results especially since book does not give you answers to results experiments SHOULD yield. This was most serious fault of all as it could lead to a child learning something that is absolutely not true and never learning different or not learning facts for many years. FYI there is nowhere that indicates bulbs are different and required magnifying glass to figure out. All in all, it is usable for us as I have experience and knowledge of 40+ years, but if It was a subject I was ignorant in this kit could lead to child being taught wrong things which really could make it worse than worthless. Think about that.............................. As it is, we are getting a valuable lesson in culture differences in thought processes ( yeah, you gotta go deep on that one), education in engineering, and the parts are helpful in teaching 11 year old what I already know.
