We used this pool dye to put in a fire truck for our gender reveal. The bottle says to dilute a lot but our friends ended up using an entire bottle for 1,000 gallons. I believe the bottle says it works for 20 or 40,000. So if you're using it for that reason buy more than one bottle and experiment.

So we didn't use this in a pool, we used it in a firetruck as our gender reveal. It's a 1000 gal tank and we used the entire bottle. It came out to be a very pink!

Junk! This is pink not red! In most the photos the colors look MUCH deeper then they truly are! And don't run a filter or its gone in 45 min almost completely!

Added very little color to the pool. Added a lot of color to my surrounding tiles. Manufacturer does not stand by product. States that they are not responsible for any damages occurred from using their product. What's the point of buying a product supposedly designed for pool use that is clearly just red food coloring. They both come with the same help from the manufacturer if it causes damage to your pool. None!Tried dish soap, chlorine, and muriatic acid. Nothing would get off the staining even with 15 minutes spent with each scrubbing one tile. 173 tiles around my pool. Finally went to the pool store and bought around $50 worth of tile cleaning supplies. With that and multiple hours of scrubbing, I was able to get most of it off. What a nightmare.
