Sweet tool
Does charge by sunlight but very slowly but still charges. It charges fast by USB, and lasts a very long time, charges devices fully, and has a very very bright flashlight. Worth the investment.

Great alternative with solar charging option
Liked the power bank and used it over weekend for a trip. The best part is it can charge without connecting to power source under the sun. Due to higher capacity, we can charge multiple phones multiple times. The USB and USBC provides couple options to charge a phone with available cables. The flash light is added feature that can be used as needed. I think this unit is great to have for any outdoor trip.

Perfect for what it is, small, wireless charging, and reasonable price.
There are a lot of reviews saying solar panel doesn't work, can only charge phone a couple of times ect...It's all about reading the specks and math.Solar charging:This device is small. It's length and width is smaller than my galaxy s22 and only slightly thicker. I can easily carry it in my pocket. Putting an led in line between the Solar panel and the battery to indicate current flow is a very basic circuit. If the led that indicates the Solar panel is charging is on, there is current flowing to the battery and it is charging. There are excellent explanations in the question section which do a great job of explaining the math and why it would take probably over a week to fully charge this device. One review I read said the device would not fully charge with Solar. I "capped off" my phone from about 50% battery to 85% which used about one "bar" or one of the indicator let's. I then put it outside in the South Florida sun, in direct sunlight to see if I could fully charge it with the Solar panel. It took 3 days. It finally got back to a full charge. Am I disappointed, NO, that's about what I would expect. If you wanted to fully charge your phone, then recharge using Solar, the Solar panel would have to produce the same watage over a few hours that you used to charge your phone. You can do this with one of the folding Solar panels Amazon sells. These panels are huge in comparison to the tiny panel on this unit. It's all math and physics. Hurricane Andrew back in the day, we were without power for a little over a week. Thus device would have charged my phone once or twice, then it would probably take a week to recharge. Not what this device was designed for."I can only charge my phone a couple of times before recharging"Thus battery is small and easy to carry. If you are comparing power banks using the same technology, same type of battery, more capacity equals larger battery. Again math and physics. If the battery bank is about the same size as your phone, you are only going to get around 2 or 3 full charges with it. A power bank is basically all battery, so if the device is about the size of your phone the battery size inside is probably 2 or 3 times larger than the one in your phone. Thus expect 2 or 3 charges. Again math and physics. In an emergency situation, I would use this as a Solar flashlight. I have a larger power bank that is about the size of a lunchbox with a large folding Solar panel to charge it. Under perfect conditions I can recharge that device in about a day to day and a half. I recommend this device as long as you understand it's limitations. Remember it can fit in your pocket, It has wireless charging, and is inexpensive.BTW, the compass is just a novelty. If you are putting yourself in a situation where you need a compass for navigation, carry a real compass.

NOT 36800mAh - More like 8000mAh
UPDATE-2022-10-24: I just got an offer to delete my review for $20 from the seller. As long as their product description DECEPTIVELY shows 36800mAh instead of 8000mAh, my review stands. BTW, I purchased a current tester before I returned these power banks, and I can confirm these only provide ~6400mAh of usable power which is accurate for 8000mAh x 80% (power draw limitation engineered into all lithium based products) = 6400mAh since no manufacturer creates a lithium device that can discharge to 0% which would destroy the battery. I ended up purchasing 5 of the XEGNER Portable Charger, Power Bank 30000mAh which turns out to be HONESTLY advertised. I'll gladly give up a $20 bribe to help potential buyers. Amazon reviews unfortunately can be dicey, but here is a real review for you.ORIGINAL REVIEW:These power banks were not working as I expected. I kept having to charge them far more often than I should have based on the devices I was charging. I decided a simple test for these purchased power banks (I bought several) was in order, so I did the following:1. Charge power bank fully.2. Discharge your device (phone or radio, or any device with a known mAh rating).3. Leave your device off during charging so it is a fair test.4. Charge your device fully using the power bank.5. Discharge your device.6. Charge your device fully using the power bank.7. Note the capacity of your device battery (mine is 6000mAh).8. My device will not charge more than once, and stops charging during the second attempt.9. Forget the math if you like. 6000mAh, plus a little bit more (~25% in my case) is ~8000mAh.8000/36800 is only 22% of the advertised capacity...uh...ummmm...nope. That doesn't work for me.Time to return this product.I now have a new method for buying power banks on Amazon. I go to the 1-star reviews and look for people that actually ran some testing. My search continues...

Multifunctional Battery Backup
Does the job it was intended to do, is not so heavy or bulky as to be physically useless. I had a backup battery pack, but this one stores more amps AND is solar rechargeable. So I'm liking it a lot, and have packed it into my basic kit.

Does the job, but not as well as claimed
Battery is not power as strong as it claims (38000), Maybe half the capacity stores(10000-20000), max. I've used a lot of external batteries, and this one is okay.
