I have high vaulted ceilings and a large living room and this fan is a perfect fit. The speed settings are great and moves the air efficiently and quietly. Easy installation even with a separately ordered 24 inch extension bar. The light has great brightness settings from low to high which gives plenty of lighting options. The remote is easy to operate. I would definitely recommend to anyone looking to cool a large room with minimal noise as to not disrupt conversations or movies. It also has a very clean and classy look. Review: Massive! - Replaced 3 fans in my house and these things are MASSIVE! Love the look and they pump out some serious airflow. The down rod provided is a bit long. I had to cut 2 of them down halfway so that the fan didn’t sit so low. Easy to install. I wish they came in a flat black finish instead of the brushed nickel, but they are well built and work flawless. I guess I also would prefer the dimmer switch to be more reliable and be a “step” system instead of a “hold to fade/dim” system. It becomes difficult to get it at full brightness or full dim without having to cycle all the way through the brightness levels.

Good could be great
First this is a beautiful fan that has great air flow. Mine is on a 9 foot ceiling with the 12 inch down rod. The blades are wider than most other fan blades which helps with the airflow. Light is very bright but plastic cover and not glass. I don't like the remote has a wired transmitter instead of built in. There are a lot of wires and some work to get it all tucked in. Issue I had was scraping. With the blades fully screwed in the blade end scraped the top motor, it was loud scraping. I finally figured out the blade end was scraping and once I figured out which blade I had to loosen the screws some but then it scraped on the light cover. So I had to adjust the light cover so it wouldn't scrape. I finally got it where there was no scraping but I have a not so tight blade and light cover. This should have been engineered better. Also did not come with batteries for the remote, boooo. But again I think it's an absolutely beautiful fan with great air flow.

For non-experienced home electricians
For non-experienced home electricians. Very easy to install. one person is enough to get the job done. There is just one thing that is strange. from time to time the light turns off by itself. I think, it is some glitch in remote or antenna. 1. This fan has a nice feature, you can dim the lights. 2. Another thing worth to mention is that the fan is very quiet. 3. You can replace your AC unit with this. It does't change your room into refrigerator environment but it gives you comfortable feeling. 4. Perfect solution for very hot and humid nights. 5. The fan has 3 speed modes. during the summer I didn't have to run the fastest speed yet. 6. You can install regular light bulbs. no need for special expensive BS Good price, easy to install, nice design.

Doesn't last long
Preface; I am an electrician. I have installed hundreds of ceiling fans of varying qualities and price points. This fan was installed in a location with no water contact. It is on a 20 amp circuit with a few rope lights and a ceiling fan so it isn't a power issue as everything else works. The television and xbox are closer to water than this is and both perform flawlessly still. This fan looks good, easy to install. Installed on a covered outdoor kitchen to help mitigate flies above table. Light was very unattractive but didn't need light so not an issue. Installed late October and it worked through new years eve before power was shut off to the porch until yesterday. Sadly we discovered the fan no longer responds to the remote; despite new batteries in the remote and resetting the power supply multiple times. When I looked to find warranty information this fan is where I was directed. For the price point I would have expected a much longer lasting fan. The other fan on the porch was a much cheaper and smaller unit but it still works flawlessly. I would recommend looking elsewhere for quality fans.

More variability on light dimming and fully light out mode to run just fan...
A well built, large fan. Moves a lot of air. The trim escutheon cover and ring are a bit tricky to finish up the install if your mounting socket isn't flush with the ceiling. I had to play around with some 6" long threaded 8-32 shafts and couplers to come up with a solution to have the trim ring cover the escutheon cover screws. I also found that access to wiring was easier if you only installed 6 of the 8 blades, leaving a gap to get your eyes and arms up there. Also, the range of "dim-able-ness" is rather small going from max dim to full brightness. Not a huge decernable difference in the brightness through the whole range. I also see that the lights glow/flicker if the fan is running at all... it doesn't seem like you can have no light and just fan operating. I bought 3 and will hang the other 2 shortly and see if this issue happens on all three.

Beautiful! QUITE! NO ROCKING! get it!
My ceilings were finally painted so I was so excited to put up the new fan! It's absolutly stunning! So a couple things. One: the rod is in fact 12 inches long and with my 9 foot ceilings, the 12 inch rod would hang too low in my opinion. especially once we install the tv, I don't want it to cutoff the screen in any angle. so what I did was use the 3 inch rod I had from the old fan I was replacing. with a bit of statin black spray paint looks like it belongs! If you decide to go with a shorter rod I would suggest 4-6 inch rod so you still have room to bolt down the safety line in case of an emergency. That being said I wasn't able to put one of the 2 copings that go on the top because of the spacing but thats my issue not the fans fault lol ok next...Two: I suggest having minimum 2 people help installing so help hand things while the other is up on the ladder. in a perfect world I would have like to have a third person when lining up and bolting down the fan blades. just cuz they are so long its hard to help them up there in the ladder when the second person is up on the ladder helping level the blades as they are bolted on. CON! Three: probably should be the first thing you do when opening the box, CHECK to see that the motor covers are NOT bent!! ours came in bent!!! and we didn't notice till we thought we were finished and turned the fan on. only to hear and nasty grind!! its was scary. after all of that I thought we were going to have to take apart the fan and return it. but my fiancé was able to shift and bend the cover so it wasn't rubbing. PROS: the light is nice a bright, it dims with the remote, its sleek and Clean looking. no noise (after adjusting) no rocking! love it!.

Powerful, quiet, and perfect for large spaces!
I bought this fan for my loft, which is pretty large — and if you have a two-story home, you know how hot and stuffy it can get upstairs. I wanted something powerful enough to cool the space without having to constantly run the AC, and this fan delivered exactly what I was looking for. It has multiple speed settings, and on the highest one, it actually makes the space cold. What really impressed me, though, is how quiet it is. Even at higher speeds, you can barely hear it, which is a huge plus for me since other large fans I’ve tried were way too loud. Yes, it’s a big fan — but if you have a big room like mine, it fits perfectly. I typically keep it on setting 4 during hot summer days, and it cools the room beautifully while helping me save on my AC bill. Overall, I’m super happy with this purchase!
