Waste of money
Very difficult to fill and doesn't hold 10 gallons of water. They were empty in 20 minutes.

Drips from the hose to the tree — losing water
They work fine once I make my way to the tree but the tree is about 100 yards from the hose spigot. The bag is awkward to carrying and is dripping the entire way. By the time I got there I had already lost 3/4 of the water.

6 Piece Water Rings
I love thes. I planted 3 crepe mortals and since the weather is so hot and dry, these help to keep my new trees watered.

Effective watering solution
I bought 6 of these for newly transplanted fruit trees that are not near any irrigation. They work well in slowly releasing water to keep my trees hydrated in the extreme heat and lack of rain we have been having the last month+. I like these watering rings but have a few suggestions if you are considering. 1) I wish I got something a little more vertical oriented for my fruit trees. Reason being that when these are "done" watering, if they aren't perfectly level or whatever, there may still be a half gallon of water in the tube that can't drain out the 2 drain holes. Perhaps I've of the designs that stands more upright would be more effective in draining more completely. 2) This donut design may be a great design for bushes and shrubs, low profile can fit under branches. Worked well on my raspberry and blueberry pants I planted. 3) I probably should have ordered a size bigger capacity. 4) I wish they had more than just 2 drain holes. This may be to better regulate a slow flow, but I would have liked better coverage. I just rotate the rings a quarter turn every few days to a week. All in all I like them and continuing to use them.

I would not recommend these to anyone
As soon as you fill the bags the water is basically drained from them. I purchased these for my brush cherry and I have about 20 of them. By the time you start filling up the first one and you have gotten to the last one. The first one has already had all the water come out of it. From the first one to the last one it’s about 15-20 minutes. That’s how fast the water is gone. I would not recommend these for anyone to purchase them. Get the tree bags instead. Those can take up to 24-48 hours for the entire bag to drain out of them. Those will keep your trees watered better.

Waste
These bags once filled will be empty is about ten minutes, which completely defeats the purpose. Choose another brand. These are a waste to d money.
