After months of putting up with glitches upon glitches from my Xperia 1 IV, I decided it was time to move on. But I was only interested in a phone with a physical headphone jack. Asus reputation as a serious manufacturer in the world of PCs helped me with the choice.I am very pleased with the phone. It is not the thinnest especially with the additional case. But I rather like the thickness of it. It feels sturdy and well built. Downsizing from the Xperia was no problem, even felt better after a few days.Performance is where the phone really comes to life. It is faster and smoother than any smartphone I've ever owned, and I'm not exactly surprised as it has less bloatware than its Samsung and Sony equivalents.I used to have call reception problems with my Sony. Since I changed to the. ZenFone 10, not a single person has complained of not hearing me.Music sounds a little bit different from the Sony, and I'm not entirely sure where I stand. One thing I'm certain of is that Bluetooth sound from the ZenFone 10 to my Sony WH 1000XM4 sounds louder than from the Xperia 1 IV.Battery life is slightly better than the Xperia, which is a good to have but I must admit, I never had a real problem here in the first place.Camera - again I'm no expert in this field. With the Xperia I used to have absolutely brilliant photos sometimes, but too often overexposure or washed out ones, more than any top end smartphone I'd ever owned. The ZenFone 10 is more consistent in performance. Not one washed out photo as yet. Whether it's better than the Sony, I couldn't tellOverall I am so pleased I could get such a great phone with a physical headphone jack. This one is definitely for keep.
