In a lot of craft groups, the general advice is to print on photo paper not cardstock. If it's not firm enough, use a layer of cardstock as backing. Koala is one of the most common go to brands in these groups as well.I came looking for matte photo paper but was disappointed I couldn't get a heavier weight. Then I came across this and decided to take a chance as I trusted the brand.Looked really good... Now I just need a better printer, lol

I truly love working with this paper. The colors on the paper are super bright! They are perfect for party decorations.

This is one sided paper and I find it next to impossible to tell which is the printing side. It does, however, give a nice sharp photo paper type print and the paper is very white. It says it's 85# but feels the same weight as my 61# Staples premium matte photo paper. In the end, it comes down to price, for me. If the price is low enough, I'm willing to struggle with figuring out which side to print on. Otherwise, I'll stick with my usual 61# matte photo paper that is double sided.

I literally Brough this paper printed on it and right after that first print I purchased like 3 or 4 more packets. This is by far the best matte card-stock and I have had my share I would know.

no markings for front or rear, you have to guess...one side is beautiful, the other prints like mud. Good luck figuring it out, no hints from the manufacturer

This is such nice paper! It's the right amount of thickness. But most markers do not work, very shiny finish, not matte at all. If using to color on gel pens work really well but I like to used mixed mediums so this paper is a no go for me. It's a shame because I printed most pages before I tested :(
