Q: Can you use it straight out of the bottle or is it best to dilute?

I used it full strength, but sprayed lightly on to a microfiber cloth, a little goes a long way. Kept replacing the cloths, used on dark blue leather and it did a fantastic job. Then dressed with the Gtechniq L1 leather guard which leaves a matt surface finish.

Q: Can this be used on a fabric sofa?

It does say its an all surface cleaner, and says nothing about avoiding any particular surface or material. However when I used it on my car interior last year, I did feel like it left a tacky residue.

Q: will this product remove/cover the scent of a new car?

It has a strong anti bacterial smell , reminds me of a hospital smell , not unpleasent at all, just clean . Yes it would cover the new car smell for a period of time .
