A collaborative game!
I bought this game for my 12-year-old son for Christmas. The first day we played it, I was confused but he explained it to me. The very next day, I asked if we could play it again, which is unusual for me. There are only two of us most of the time, and we play the collaborative version (I think a competitive mode is possible with four or more players). I much prefer collaborative games, while my son is very competitive. He wants to play with more people. We invited a third, my adult cousin, and she really enjoyed it as well. She wants to play it again. We'll see what happens when we find a fourth participant and it becomes competitive.

Great Co-op word building game for Scrabble fans
My wife is a causal gamer and does not tend to pick up most games. She is also a Scrabble fan so I was able to convince her to try it. The game is a word game, like Scrabble, but has a challenging aspect to it. The game is planned together so you can help other players and you are usually looking to spell words in certain categories. This allows players to help one another, good for families, and helps when one player gets stuck with bad letters. The game is played in rounds but they are quick and the game moves rapidly. The different enemies add some challenges and variety to the game and allows for a different game play each time you pull it out. My wife did like it and was fun enough to convince her to play again, which can be a tough call. The materials were good quality. The cards are a plastic consistency and should hold up very well over time. The letters are a thick cardboard but I am concerned that with extended plays, you may see some wear. Having a plastic tile would be a nice addition to this game but does not take away from the game as a whole. Pros: Fun, family game Easy to teach Quick game play Cons: Cardboard letter tiles may show wear over time

My seven year old is obsessed
I got this game to add a little special fun to our homeschooling routine and the whole family loves it! The rules seem a little confusing or complicated right when you open the box, but it quickly becomes understandable and easy to play :-)

Fun word game!
Box was a bit dented on the sides but components were all good and complete.
