Easily installed. The visor is slightly larger than the factory visor. Original visor was broken and a new replacement was too expensive. This was a much cheaper alternative and the polarized visor minimizes the sun’s glare.

If every state in the Union painted their roads with reflective paint, like they used to, this might be amazing. If you live in a state that does use the better, more expensive, reflective paint, I think it would work. Where I live (IL), I put the visor down and it toned down the car lights beautifully -- I just couldn't see the curbs, the edges of the road, anything. I was petrified for those few seconds that some person was going to walk near me and I wouldn't see them, either. I could have kept the visor to try out when the sun is low and blinding, but the car visor wouldn't stay up out of the way with this additional visor added to it. My husband said it had to go. (We share a car.) It looks well made, it halfway did its job, but I would not recommend it.

I’m short, so I need something to help block the glare when I drive as the sun is coming up or going down. This product absolutely works to cut glare, but doesn’t take it away entirely; I don’t think anything can. It is definitely helpful, and makes driving when the sun is shining right into the windshield manageable. It’s easy to install and flexible, so you can easily adjust it. It even comes with a cleaning cloth, which is nice. All in all, a good product that does what it is intended to do.

Where I live, there are several areas that at certain times in the morning and evening the sun is shining directly into your eyes while you’re driving. I have gotten used to it over the years and always used my sun visor, but, the glare was still difficult to battle. My daughter was telling me about the same thing and how she felt unsafe at certain times of the day. I decided to buy this unit and test it out for myself before I gave it to her and it was fantastic! It’s sort of looks like something that some old senior citizen would use and as I was driving and testing it, I kept looking to each side of me if people were staring at me! I loved how this worked however, my daughter is in her 20s and I know image is relatively important to kids at that age …. I gave it to her and explained how simple it is to use and she doesn’t have to feel any obligation if she doesn’t like it because I will certainly take it back and use it myself. The following day she said, this is absolutely amazing and I love it and you cannot have it back! That says it all, and I had to buy another one for myself.

Used it for several months. So far good product, helps take the strain off the eyes on sunny days. Something to consider is the product takes about an inch room under the visor which is to be expected. The copy I received had sharp edges and gave me a cut like a paper cut. I little bit of sanding took care of that. Overall good product.
