The desktop is light and shaky. Not very rigid at all.
I find when I use this that the desktop part is quite loose. Its made of thin plastic and can easily be "wiggled". Needs to be replaced with something more solid in the next version. Far from impressed with it. It would be impossible for me to used this on a daily basis. On the plus side the rest of it is pretty solid however and quite comfortable. It is light and portable.

Very comfortable seat, but some big flaws with the table
This is very comfortable - I can sit on this for hours without any aching or discomfort. I was concerned it might be uncomfortable on my knees but it's not at all. I mostly use it for drawing and calligraphy, with the table in landscape position and at a shallow angle. I much prefer it to sitting at the dining table with a tabletop easel. It has a major design flaw though. The surface of any table should be made of a single piece of smooth material, but the surface of this table is not. It's made of 5 seperate pieces of textured plastic. There is a slight groove between each piece and the corners of the cream piece dip down so they are not flush with the black pieces. If I'm drawing on thick bristol board or in a sketch pad it's not a problem, but it's not suitable for drawing on a single piece of thin paper. I removed the tabletop and replaced it with a piece of furniture panel and it's a huge improvement. There are a few other things that bother me about it. Despite the textured surface of the original tabletop, my paper kept sliding off, even though I use it at a shallow angle. I have to use blu tac or tape to keep the paper on the table. You certainly can't rest a pen or pencil on it. A clip-on lip for the bottom edge would have been a much more useful accessory than the ones available. The description says this can be used as an easel, but I disagree. When I put the table in portrait position, the maximum height you can have the top edge of the table is about 130cm. With the seat in the highest position (the most comfortable in my opinion) this means the top edge is only at eye-level, and I'm only 5 feet 3 inches tall. I can use it in portrait orientation for small or medium macrame projects by using large clips at the top edge to hold the dowel, but it would need to be significantly higher to use as an easel for painting. It would also need a lip at the bottom edge if you wanted to use a sketchbook or a canvas on it.The description says this folds flat to 6 inches tall for storage. On the box it says 6.5 inches. The box is correct. Don't take the manufacturer's word for it that this will fit under your bed or behind your sofa - measure it. My desk doesn't fit under or behind any of my furniture or in any of my cupboards. I had to sell my sofa bed to make space for it. Be aware that if you buy the wheels this increases the height.I bought this desk on a website where the accessories were included for free, and I'm very, very glad I didn't pay for them. The wheels scrape across the floor rather than roll over them. (There is a carry handle on the base of the desk, so if you can carry 13kg I recommend you do that). My phone seemed unsafe in the phone holder. The water bottle holder is so tall you can only use it for very tall water bottles - not shorter bottles, a glass, can, mug or even pens. I have a trolley next to my desk and I put my phone, mug of tea, drawing pens etc on this. All of the accessories are in the back of the cupboard.Although that seems like a lot of complaints, I would still recommend this desk for its comfort, adjustability and portability - as long as you are using the desk flat or at a shallow-ish angle. If you were hoping to use it predominantly as an easel I would recommend buying a proper easel with a separate chair.
