Finally, a true smart controller for mini splits
After trying two other smart controllers (Sensibo and SwitchBot), I can confidently say the Cielo Breeze Max is by far the best option on the market. The other brands worked okay but were inconsistent, limited, and still felt like you were hacking together a solution for mini splits. Cielo finally delivers a product that gives mini split owners a proper central air thermostat experience. The app is intuitive, scheduling is simple, and I finally have full control over temperature set points to maximize energy efficiency. No more fumbling with clunky remotes or worrying if the system actually received the command. The Breeze Max is responsive, reliable, and just works. It feels like a real thermostat should. If you’re serious about making your mini split system smarter, more consistent, and more efficient, stop experimenting like I did and go straight to the Cielo Breeze Max. Worth every penny.

Game changer wifi thermostat
Amazing device, I bought this to mange my Mitsubishi HX model mini-split a/c and heat pump. I connected to wifi and was easy to set up, pointed my remote toward the device and it reads all unit’s settings automagically. I can’t rave enough about how well it works, and I love the iOS app, and can control my unit while away from home. I’ve recommended this to several friend who have mini-splits.

Excellent AC Unit Compatibility
I live in Honduras. I purchased the Cielo Breez Max on a trip to the US. I had doubts it would work with my mini split unit, but it did fantastically.1. Works perfect with my mini split. Comfort Star SEER 23 of 12,000 BTU in my bedroom.2. I work from home and I was able to set a comfortable temperature and fan speed on day time and a different parameters to sleep. I love that quietly does the changes. The only but here is that I still don’t know how to set it up to automatically turn off the AC.3. Excellent customer service. I couldn’t figure how to change the Fahrenheit to Celsius and receive expedited and accurate support from them.4. Beautiful Aesthetics and extra points for the small details on the screen as the telling of time, and the information about the room temperature compared to what it is coming out of the AC unit. As a suggestion would be great to add the outdoor temperature.5. Easy to set up. It feels that is made of high quality materials, not cheap plastic at all.

Cielo Breeze Max works like a charm!
Full feature unit that is very similar to your household thermostat. The unit shows the current temperature on the LCD screen that is backlit (you have the option to adjust, or turn off the backlit screen). As with all of the Cielo units designed for mini splits, you can use the app on your phone, to control your mini splits or compatible A/C units. I use this unit in my 4 season sunroom for heat in the winter and air conditioning in the summer. It allows you to set up multiple temperature ranges to keep your room within the comfortable range that you set up. I have been using Cielo controllers for over a year and currently have one of each of their units. So far, this unit has the most features in an aesthetically appealing style.Installation is straightforward and technical support is available if needed (or to explain some of the features). I have personally spoken to tech support on multiple occasions and never had to wait, on hold, for a technician. These units work great and a a good bang for the buck.

A Breath of Fresh Air (Mostly)
The Breez Max has proven to be a solid upgrade, especially for those looking to ditch the complexities of other smart home gadgets. It's almost as if it wants you to have a good time, which is rare these days. With a commendable 4 out of 5 stars, it largely delivers on its promises. The absolute best part? The current lack of an app fee – a pleasant surprise in an era where everything seems to come with a subscription. Setting it up was a breeze (pun intended), and the inclusion of a nice desk stand is a thoughtful touch. The display and local controls are genuinely excellent, offering a level of tactile interaction that's often missing in purely app-driven devices. However, it's not all sunshine and rainbows. The metrics provided are limited and, frankly, a bit confusing. One might even call them "enigmatic." A premium feature offering more comprehensive data would be a welcome addition, putting it on par with competitors like Sensibo, who seem to have a PhD in data presentation. Additionally, a few settings within the app feel redundant or overlapping, leaving one to wonder about their precise interaction (e.g., 'comfy,' 'comfy max,' 'temp range lock,' and 'presets'). It’s almost as if they were designed by committee, where everyone got their idea in.My main reason for getting the Breez Max was to find a thermostat with a screen and manual controls for my Mitsubishi mini-split, along with visual humidity and temperature readings. I replaced a Sensibo, and I'm quite happy with the change – less head-scratching, more actual comfort. The standout feature, without a doubt, is the screen and local controls. It’s a refreshing return to functionality over endless app-diving.I would recommend the Breez Max, particularly for those seeking a user-friendly, visually intuitive thermostat for their mini-split system. It's perfect for anyone who appreciates simplicity and doesn't want to become a metrics analyst just to adjust their living room temperature.
