Fine as indoor slipper
I purchased these because I was tired of buying house slippers that fall apart within 3 to 5 months. I wanted something I could wash easily. I mainly wear slippers in the house because I don't want to step on any of my kids’ toys and I have a habit of banging my size 14 feet on a wide range of furniture. These help keep my toes together and prevents me from cracking them on said furniture.Size 14 is true in length. I just wish there was a wide width available, since the rubber soul is just a bit narrow for my feet. So I don't get the extreme comfort that comes from a cotton or fleece slipper, and the feeling is a little more like wearing a shoe in the house. I also have bunions that make the shoes narrowness take getting used to, but I can't fault the product for my own feet. I also have to keep in mind that these are meant to be martial arts shoes.I've already washed them and they seem well made. There is a variation with a sole made out of woven cotton, but I assume that would be slippery on hardwood floors, so I opted for the textured rubber. If these continue to hold up, I might try the cotton ones just to see.All in all, a good house slipper if you have narrow feet. I was elated to see that somebody was actually selling a US size 14 in a shoe like this.

Comfortable
Use these mostly for house slippers, like them because they are light weight and have a wear resistant sole.

Loose fit
You get what you pay for. The heel keeps slipping out. The overall fit is good (for my foot) but my heel slips out when I lunge forward basically turning it into a slipper.

You need to know!
Ok, let me start by telling you the reason why I’m only giving these 3 stars. They arrive with a rubber smell that can only be described by walking into a car tire manufacturing factory. And it’s not just a slight odor either. I don’t really mind a slight rubbery smell, but these have an odor that is so strong that it is almost dizzying. And let me tell you that it took a couple months for the smell to subside to a faint aroma, but is still there mostly on warmer days. Other than the smell, these are great. I use mine as a comfortable house shoe or something I can toss on just to go out in the yard or check the mail. They are light weight, very comfortable, and flexible enough that you could actually fold them up into a roll. I will say that they have no arch support at all, so you may want to add some type of cushioning insole like I did. For the price, I think they were a good deal. I haven’t had any issues with them ripping or issues with the sole coming unglued from the shoe itself. I have even tossed mine in the washer before and the only thing I noticed after this was that they lost a little of the black dye and got a slight faded look. Not a big deal for use as a house shoe. But something to know if you want them to keep that dark black coloring for longer. As for that thin sole , they have a surprising amount of grip while walking around, but you can feel every little thing you step on. So once again, adding a cushion insole is probably a good idea. And the shoe sizing was almost perfect. To be honest here, if it wasn’t for that strong smell that lasted for a long time, I would have given these 5 stars. Would I suggest these to other people? That depends. If you can get past that month or two of car tire odors, or if you want to buy them and leave them in the closet for a month or so till it subsides, then yes, these would be a good buy. But if you are planning to wear these on day one, you might want to rethink putting these in your shopping cart and look for a different brand. I can tell why they are marketing these as a martial arts type shoe, cause the smell alone will drop somebody quicker than Bruce Lee. Just imagine an old Kung fu flick where a master shows up wearing these and Is easily able to disorientate and dizzy his opponents by the smell of his shoes. He would be known for his (Skunken Master) skills. A challenge even IP Man would try to avoid.

Very comfortable
I purchased the cloth sole version. The sole consists of multiple layers of stiff fabric sewn together with a pillowy fabric insole. (I had purchased a pair 4 years ago from a different vendor at a higher price…these appear to be the exact same manufacturer) and it took a long time to wear through the stitching on the bottom of the shoe. ( I regularly wore these outdoors and on sidewalks which is not the intended use and they held up very well). The cloth/light canvas upper is comfortable and there is an elastic portion to aid in putting the shoe on and taking it off and for comfort while wearing. Seems like quality construction throughout.I wear size 13 and ordered size 13 and they shipped size 46 metric/European and they fit perfectly.I wanted a comfortable inexpensive slipper/moccasin type shoe to wear around the house and yard and this fits the bill perfectly. (I might try the rubber sole version next time as it might be more practical on a dewy morning in the grass….just didn’t want the rubber to be too thick and thereby take away from the ability to feel the ground like a moccasin). All in all, I highly recommend this shoe.
