The nuts are not screwing on

After reading the reviews on similar items I was a bit concerned these were going to turn out to be a waste of money. However they were pretty solid and did the job admirably, although I did have to join the Ministry Of Silly Walks. The straps supplied with these are of excellent quality webbing and pretty solid spring loaded buckle which get a good bight and ensure the straps do not slacken when in use. Wether the lawn improves remains to be seen.

I didn't realise I had to assemble the product, I couldn't do it so unfortunately returning.

Brilliant things. They work a treat. Just be aware they are hard plastic with no give, so you have to adapt your walking style otherwise they'd be prone to break. (You have to walk as if your wading through 6inches of wet mud.) I would also recommend running the straps under the shoe rather than looping them through the strap loops. Puts a LOT less stress on the plastic.

Left me one nail short, you only get 4 straps not 6 like in the images, and the straps don’t have steel clips- for €12 you can’t go wrong though

Done a good job, get the moisture level correct. Bingo. However 4 straps supplied but they need locking buckles as the cheap plastic ones slip. Spikes are 44 not 25 but did sink in all the way. Move sideways and use 2 walking poles. £11 pair
