One of Britain's favorite authors, Jane paid two long visits to Bath towards the end of the eighteenth century, and from 1801 to 1806 Bath was her home. It also provides the backdrop to two of her novels, Northanger Abbey and Persuasion, and features in her other novels and in the collection of letters to her sister, Cassandra.

Photo VERY deceiving, read measurements.
Took forever to get here, was waaay smaller than I realized. My fault for not catching the measurements before ordering. Wouldn’t have paid that much for something so small. It was a gift for a huge JA fan, so fortunately they loved it.

Jane Austen bust
The friend to whom I sent it said it is good quality. She is very happy with it.

What there is of it is nice... But it’s FLAT IN BACK.
The photos don’t show the back because there is no back of this bust it’s completely flat like a book end. Not at all what I was expecting. Busts are not flat in back. I knew it was small that was fine. Huge huge disappointment!!!!!

Amazingly detailed
A great reproduction, with sharply delineated features, and words from Austin's novel inscribed legibly on the base. A great (and I'm sure a soon to be cherished) addition to my authors & composers bust collection.
