Waited far too long to replace a worn out antenna on the Prius. This is a generic antenna that will work on many models of car equipped with a roof-mount whip antenna. It includes several types of thread patterns for various carmakers and there was one to fit my Prius just fine. Installation time was about one minute. It fits perfectly, looks just like OEM, and was a great price. Reception is perfect and it looks great compared to my old one. The spring is strong and it should survive many a car wash. Very satisfied. Quality looks to be as good as factory.

The heading of the Amazon product page included Honda . Although the fitment may not have listed my 2020 Honda Fit (last year Honda made those) I didn’t have to email the dealer. Amazon has a thingy where you can enter the make & model of your vehicle (used it for a year) and when I opened the antenna product page, Amazon had a notice above all Amazon Confirmed Fit...for my vehicle. The antenna was a perfect fit, with four choices of adapters, and I am very pleased. Reception improved further away from NY and NJ. All the the best to this Wisconsin family !! Additional feedback ! Purchased this 27 November 2024 and now I want to add this 17 January 2025. My original original antenna for my 2020 Honda Fit was ok but with this antenna, driving further away from metropolitan New York and New Jersey, keeps me connected longer to my favorite stations. Also the digital display on my meager display now shows not just the station ID but also the artist’s (for a song) name and sometimes the title ! Great improvement over the original antenna. When I first attempted to screw in the “GM” adapter (which was one of 4 included with antenna), the adapter would only go in about 1/16” to 1/8” into the base. I didn’t want to force it so I tried the other 3, but they were all too small in diameter. There wasn’t any instructions with the antenna, so I called customer service (manufacturer). My call was politely answered by an engineer for the firm. He listened, and then said to take pictures of the adapters and of the threaded opening of the antenna base mounted on the roof of my vehicle and send them via text msg to him. I had to get a ladder so I could take close up photos of the base. Upon closer inspection, I noticed that the rim around the opening was “kinked”/ bent inward thus preventing any adapter from entering the hole at the correct angle (without cross-threading). I was able to lessen the amount of protrusion into the whole so that the correct adapter could screw in correctly all the way to the bottom of the hole and all the way into the new antenna. The antenna bottom was flush with the base and it looked as it should. The good news is that it works well pulling in distance and weaker stations that couldn’t be heard without the antenna. It’s also good to know that you have a supportive and knowledgeable customer service if you need one. According to the representative, the four adapters that come with the antenna should be able to make the antenna fit any vehicle in the world (with an OEM factory installed base on the vehicle). I wish all manufacturers had a customer service such as this one. Well worth the money and would definitely purchase again if mine is stolen or is lost again.

There's not much to say about a car antenna. What I'll say about this one is that it came with three or four adapters so that it will screw into a variety of car mounts. I have a 2009 Prius. I took off the old antenna, looked at the end that screws into the car, found the matching adapter, put that on the antenna, and the antenna screwed right in without the slightest hitch. I don't know that my radio reception is any better with this antenna. I suspect structurally it's very much like the one it replaces. But it's new and it attaches properly, and has not come unscrewed or caused the radio to shut off or do anything it shouldn't do. When something that costs less than $20 behaves as well as this new antenna, it deserves a bit of recognition. And here it is.

This didn’t come with any instructions, so it took me a few minutes to figure out I needed to screw one of the four included adapters into the threaded part of the new antenna (I thought I needed to remove the one already in there first. I didn’t do any damage, but just a heads up not to do that!) It fits fine on my 2008 New Beetle, and material wise, this is the best looking one I’ve seen on Amazon. It has a decent weight to it, and it doesn’t feel cheap like another one I initially ordered. I also like that it’s a bit shorter than the factory antenna that has been disintegrating on my car for a few years now. The only thing I don’t like is that the one I received has a grayish tint to it, so it clashes with the black base on my car. It probably won’t be noticeable to anyone else, but it does bother me.

This is a quality direct replacement antenna for my BMW 330ci convertible. It is a simple installation directly into the existing antenna mount on the rear quarter fender. It picks up radio signals exactly like the original antenna. Good value for the price.
