I was installing 3 POE cameras on the outside of my house and the only way to get CAT5 from the wiring closet to the front and back of the house was via the garage. I ran the cables from the closet up through the attic and down into the garage ceiling where a placed a Legrand surface mount box. I then ran the 3 cables through the cable raceway to the side wall where I split the runs - 1 to the front and 2 to the back. In both cases I ran the cables through more raceway until I reached the egress points where I terminated the cables with RJ45's and plugged them into wall plates with keystones. Installing the cable raceway was easy and for added security, especially the ceiling run, I predrilled 3/16" holes every 18" and used #6 drywall screws to secure it to the joist. The center line inscribed along the bottom of the U channel made centering the holes easy! Rather then use the universal covers I just staggered the top cover by 2" away from the U channel joints - adds rigidity and looks good. I also didn't bother using the covers for corners and just allowed the cables to be exposed at each turn - see attached pics.

This product is a better and more stable take on wire management than the one piece slotted or side hinged cable raceways I've used before. When I was hiding the speaker wires from my new AVR to four of the speakers, this product held it all and the separate cover piece snapped in place easily. Easy stick-on installation and amazing adhesive. This cover finishes with a clean look- clever joint covers can be trimmed to work for multiple purposes. Best of all, the sections of this kit are 48" long- fewer joints on long runs.

If you need more than 1 vertically, the couplers provided don’t have any friction so just fall down. Not a good design.

Great product

Works well. I used it in 2 different applications. Inside to conceal a couple of LAN cat5 cables. Sticky tape was adequate. Be sure to use a level to keep it plumb vertical. Then I used it outside, which was much trickier. I had 3 cat5 cables on a rock exterior wall of the house. I screwed it in and needed spacers behind to keep it straight since the rick is irregular. It worked fine. The bugger was snapping on the cover over 3 cat5 cables. It is a little to tight, but in the end I'm good.Recommend product, but you need basic handy man skills.

Absolutely love this product. The relatively inexpensive price for 16 total feet? Can't beat it. Overall easy to use, especially with the self-adhesive. Once applied, it looks great. Very happy.

This worked well for a month or two before peeling itself off the wall to the point where it's still standing only because the cord is tucked inside of it. Not happy.

Great product. So easy to install, looks great, and not expensive. Did it by myself in 5-10 minutes. Will definitely buy again!
