Amazing Product!
This filter/regulator was difficult to find locally, but locally after buying it on Amazon, I was able to get everything situated on the compressor. Just note you'll have to buy the adapters to plug between the compressor and the hose as well.

In regards to the connection reviews, please read
First of all, the description says 3/8, so the fittings will be 3/8, not 1/4 like your air tools. You will need either 3/8 to 1/4 hex reducer’s or bushings on the tool side. But on the compressor side, please stay at the 3/8 fitting. There will be volume losses through the FRL, that’s why you UPSIZE and get a 3/8 for running 1/4 fittings. Your airline is 3/8 so you don’t have volume losses also. The problem isn’t Dewalt and the fittings, it’s your lack of knowledge(I’m not being being sarcastic, I’ve sized and plumbed in at least 100 of these through the years in industry). A single fitting as a choke point provides much less of volumetric loss than hose or a FRL. You can disagree, you will be wrong. Dewalt doesn’t know what fittings you need, everyone needs different fittings, know what need, and buy it. I don’t want my cost to rise because dewalt provided fittings that work for you that I don’t need.

Oil use
Oil reservoir pushes way too much through even at the lowest setting.

Wrong size hole for hoses
Dewalt destroyed any good will I might have had by not including the adapters. What a pain in the *ss!

Very disappointed. It's more of a headache than it's worth.
I'm an amature, so perhapps the pro's can make sense and there's a good reason for it, but it is frustrating that the connections on this are 3/8in when all of the standard hoses and connectors for nail guns are 1/4in. I've had a hell of a time trying to find adapters and fittings to make this work. Way too much headache and additional cost for the extra fittings and hoses. In the end, it's cheaper and easier to just drain the compressor periodically, and regularly add a few drops of lubricant to the nail guns.
