Franklin Sports NHL Championship Goal Shooting Target

I bought this for my 8-year old son to provide a tool for him to improve his accuracy in shooting. In just a couple of uses, he was able to start hitting the corners on a regular bais; not always scoring, but hitting the general area. More importantly, the target provided a 'fun' level that turned a regular practice into a game. Before having the target, I would play goalie while he shot on goal. Now we play offense together, passing back and forth to each, before a shot is taken.The plastic is a thick material that is very durable and holds up to the elements. The sleeves and velcro straps are sufficient.

I like this product for its fast and easy set up and tear down. It is made of good material that seems it will last for a long time while being able to withstand the elements of winter. It helps my young boys focus on the five holes and allows them to make fun competitive games out of practice shooting. If there is anything negative it would be the lower strap which attaches to the post and the goalies skates, but it does offer a necessary function in supporting the lower portion. All in all, this offers a great value for a convenient goalie which goes in and out with ease.

Good quality construction. Perfect for the beginning player to practice their shooting skills. We keep this item indoors, so i can't comment on how long it would last if kept outdoors on the net 24/7.

Bought this for a 10-yr old friend. HE LOVES IT and hits away at it every day. Very durable. I did some research and it seems they are 600D or 200-240D construction. I made sure to get this one that is 600D for extra durability. I don't know how well a 200D would hold up.

Did not fit the goal

Grandson plays hockey and this is helping him to shoot the puck and get it past the goalie. I knew when I saw he would put it to good use and I looked at others but thought this one looked like it would hold up to hard use better then the other brands.

Target is very simple to install and very effective. We have had this target for almost 3 years now, and it has zero flaws in it. I wouldn't say it gets used every day, but it has seen a lot of shots. Product even withstands slapshots from grown adults.

My husband and I were definitely upset when this came in the mail because we thought we were getting the whole goal not just cover.
