Only for beginners
I did return this item! I personally would not buy it again! The item did not fit my uses but may be good for a beginner in the martial arts or a child. If you have experiences in the martial arts and have a decent punch or kick this will NOT work for you. You will find your body absorbing most of the punch or kick! The next day you will be sore from all the tension you used up prepping for the blow. When using a heavy glove or pad you will notice that the glove or pad absorb the blow. I hope this helps!

Well made for the price.
Useful for non-professional training. We purchased this for practicing with friends. You will need to break it in first time. Holder might feel strong punches but it makes good poppling. For the price it's not bad at all. We have been using it for over a few months.

Great pads! Thought since all reviews were fairly recent
Great pads! Thought since all reviews were fairly recent, they might be those great reviews folks give for free or severely discounted products. BUT... I paid the $25.99 and when they arrived, the stitching was perfect, material seemed strong and when I compared them to the Everlast Mantis pads at a local store for about $37, I would say these are equal or better. They were also very light and cushioned. I will definitely keep Sanabul in mind when shopping for boxing equipment in future and will pass along to friends. Thanks!

excellent value, very happy with sanabul products
Pros: Very durable! Low cost! Very comfortable and well padded on the inside - I really like the cover over your fingers and the padding under your palm - makes it very easy/comfortable to hold.Cons: This isn't really an issue, but something I noticed: the punching pad is a bit firm (almost like it's a thick/dense sheet of cardboard). My hands got hot and sweaty in these relatively quickly when comparison to other (but WAY more expensive) pads I've used.Overall value: This is the 2nd sanabul product I've purchase (I purchased kickboxing gloves almost 2 years ago, that I still use), both have been excellent buys and provide great value for the money. For a casual user, I wouldn't even consider anything else.

Works beautifully
To start off, I was terrified of these things at first. I bought them for my husband so he could use them with his boxing drills, and he asked if I could wear them for him to hit one day. I was sure that my hands were going to be killing me afterwards. Happily, they were actually really comfortable, and my hands and wrists were perfectly fine afterwards. The cushioning on these works great. I actually said "That's it?!" out loud when he punched them the first time. I was seriously not expecting this to be as easy to use as they were. Now I have no problems offering to help my hubby with his boxing.

good quality, not my favorite.
I first bought this brand's gi for jiu jitsu and have been very pleased. Also bought 16 oz. boxing gloves by this company and have been very pleased. They have held up well for my first 40 or so hours of training with no sign of wear. I bought these expecting the same quality and they have lived up to my expectations in that regard. I have two issues with these and don't know if some of it is me, or if it is the design. First, they fit your hands well. The palm ball inside makes them fit snugly and feel secure. My problem is the width of the pad itself. It extends too far outside of the profile of your hand and if your partner strikes off center too much, there is a great deal of twisting or torque placed on the wrists and it leads to not enough support for the striker. There are pads at the gym that are taller and thinner in width that seem better at this. The other issue is the padding. It is very light weight which is nice in on aspect for the holder because it reduces fatigue but it also makes the holder absorb more energy from the strikes. The padding is also extremely stiff with not much give compared to say higher end fairtex pads. I think these will hold up every bit as well as my other products from this company but there are other brands of pads I like better than these.

A great practice facilitator
I am presently taking a boxing class and find these mitts to be not just invaluable but fantastic! My husband puts them on, or someone from the class, and I practice against the mitts. It's much more realistic than hitting something, and I can't tell you how much they have improved my practice. Sorry I don't have a photo because they are terrific, and I am so glad I saw them in the class on someone else and bought my own. You will be glad you did, especially if you are new to boxing like I am!!

Great product, consistent company!
These things can’t be beaten for the price. They pop really nicely when your doing mitt work with a student and because of the sufficient fit you can transition between different punches and combos very easily. If you’re looking to build speed these are still not as fast as paddles but very good. For coaches, they are very comfortable and supportive when catching punches. My wrists and elbows always used to hurt and now I can get through a 10-12 round mitt work session with little to no soreness. All in all these are comparable to more expensive brands and if they break you could buy them several more times over before they cost as much as other brands. If you’re on the fence just do it, you won’t regret it.

Amazing Find for Amazon
I will keep this short and brief. Sometimes it is hard to find good hitting pads. One of the things you need to look for are adjustable and reliable, I took a shot in the dark for these and even having prime paid for the international shipping. I don't regret it whatsoever. Amazingly quality on the material, adjusting strap and strong and robust. They have a great pop on contact and are super comfortable for the person running pads for the session. Also, they have a nice breathable mesh inside the sleeve to let some air in. I wrapped up my hands and ran pads for 2+ hours with a heavyweight and it was one of the best session I have ever done with pads.

Excellent Value
Honestly, for the price I really can't give this anything less than 5 stars. I've had these pads for almost a month now and I'm very pleased. You get a nice snap on the punches, the material feels to be good quality, fits well on my larger hands, and is also decently breathable. The only con I would say is that the padding feels a bit more rigid than other pads I've used. With that being said though I haven't found this to be an issue. If anything happens in the future with these pads I'll be sure to update my review but for the time being 5 stars.tl;dr: Excellent pads for the price you pay. Don't feel cheap, and fit well.

Price variable
I see reviews saying many people paid $25 for these. I must have missed a sale, because I paid $40 plus int'l shipping. Other than feeling like I kinda got screwed on the price, I am really looking forward to finally receiving these (shipping takes an eternity); as Ive used these before and I know they're top quality.

Good for this price point
These are good pads for the money. I've used higher end Rival pads that are heavier and better padding. These are really lightweight and can smell the genuine leather once I opened the box.I'm used to heavier pads but with them being lightweight may not be a bad thing. Not sure if that's an indication on how long they will last but so far it does the job. If you hit them just right a bit toward the upper parts of the pads then you'll get that ever-so-satisfying pop sound that gets the adrenaline going.
