Goog Product for small pizza ovens
I purchased this for my Ooni pizza oven. With a few sticks and a fire starter I had no problem bringing my oven up to 750 Deg. The size of the stics was perfect for my pizza oven. Not managing the fire box gave me more time to play with the pizza. I recommend this product for people that want to burn wood in their pizza ovens.

Great for my pizza oven
I'm very happy with my purchase. The wood is perfect for my Ooni pizza oven. The pieces of wood are all very similar in size, which makes it easier to know how many pieces to add.

Decent small wood oven option
These are decent firewood splits, size and shape vary greatly. The box I got had 46 usable pieces and 17 pieces that were mostly bark, I tossed to bark pieces as those will result in an unfavorable flavor, but the rest was good to use. They all did seem properly dried/aged as well. One advantage of the split pieces versus the cut square pieces you can also find, is that because the fibers are so well exposed from being split, it's easier to light and burn. Overall decent product, but just be mindful that you will get different shapes and sizes (although length was all fairly consistent), and there will be some pieces with bark.

Burns hot
Price seemed a bit steep but I gave it a try. I am using with my Smokey Mountain 22.5 Smoker with a Kettle Pizza insert. Prior to using Carolina Cookwood I could not get the temperature above 450-500 degrees f.I used 8 pieces of the Caroline Cookwood on top of my coals, went back inside to put my first pizza together and in about 5-8 minutes the temp was above 700 degrees f. Burns dirty
compared to the wood I purchased w/my Uni oven, this wood burns very dirty. Not sure if they use a drying agent or chemical but something is not natural about them. Always a darker smoke and the glass gets completely black after one lighting.
