What a disappointment!
Aberfeldy used to be our favourite - still have 16 and 21 and we enjoyed them for years, particularly 21: we bought our first bottle almost 25 years ago. This one however, is absolutely dreadful - harsh, and yet bland - not a hint of sherry cask provenance or toffee undertones as claimed. Cheap blended supermarket whisky would probably be better and more sophisticated. My wife summed it up perfectly: "like a sick on a chemical factory floor" ... Pretty sure this is not a fake, but who knows nowadays. One thing is certain - I shall never buy another Aberfeldy ever again.
