Good quality cables. They taught me a lesson. For all users out there reading this, consider cleaning the usb c port on your phone. This was the only cable that worked with my dirty usb c phone port, but after I thoroughly cleaned it, all my cables worked. How many of you have ever cleaned the usb c port on your phone? Supposedly the cable should click in tightly and hold a suspended phone in the air -- if properly clean.

I struggled for days to figure why I couldn't get my phone to connect to my vehicle's Android Auto. I followed all the correct steps for wireless connectivity to no avail and the USB cable I was using did nothing. After much reading I discovered the need for a very specific type of USB cable and this fits the bill very well. The cable is easily the largest diameter USB cable I've ever seen but it feels incredibly durable and well made and the length is perfect as it allows the phone to be picked up and moved without interfering with the connection to the car.

This cord is well made. I use it to charge my old 8+ Samsung. It works very well. The reason I gave it a 4star is the same reason its well made. The rubber casing isn't very pliable but in the same token it makes it good for heavy use. Meaning you could use it on adventures etc.

I knew I was getting poor transfer rates with a USB 3 hub - at 39mbps, something was wrong. I was hoping to improve my transfer speeds with this cable, and I did. But I didn't expect to have speeds 100 times better than I was getting with other cables I tried, but it's true. From my USB SSD to internal drives, I am seeing speeds in excess of 400 MB/s, and from internal drives to my USB SSD, over 300 MB/s. That made a potentially 2 day transfer at the old speeds into 15 minutes. Anything that saves you that much time is worth paying for. Well worth the cost.

Did not have a good experience with this cable. I wanted wanted to try to find the highest quality cable I could for the Android auto in my truck. This cable was highly reviewed but unfortunately right from the start I had a loose connection to my phone from the usb c end. I had to go back to my previous cable which has a tighter connection than this brand new cable. I am currently in the process of returning. Finding a high quality cable seems to be a tough task.

I've tried various leads to connect my Samsung phone to my car via Android Auto. They tend to fail, either refusing to connect at all or giving up in the middle of the journey! This lead actually works, keeps working and has, so far proved very reliable conecting first time, every time. Just as importantly it stays connected throughout the journey. The cable is good quality reflected in its stiffness but that's a small price to pay for reliability. Highly recommend.
