Forzik Compatible Ink Cartridge Replacement for HP 952 XL, Black, Cyan, Yellow, Magenta, 4 Pack

Update: Found online that this was an issue with HP firmware rejecting non-HP cartridge, and not this product's issue. I was able to update my printer to a firmware that accepts 3rd party cartridges and the issue is now resolved. As a result I've updated my review to 5 stars.Original: I was looking for replacement ink cartridges for my HP printer that cost less than the original HP. This product worked fine initially for months (which is why I gave 3 stars) but now, my printer is rejecting saying it doesn't recognize the chip and to replace with original HP ink cartridges. I've barely used half of the ink so not happy about this. Looking to see if there are solutions from the seller on how to fix this issue.

your post reads ..Upgraded Chip, but...We went to put Ink cart in printer and printer won't accept generic ones, only Originals. so we can't use the Ink !I displayed a message to use Originals or so won't print. These new machines have a chip in printer I found out on my research. so we can only use HP Originals.so why would you post that has updated chip and will work and does not ???? I will post my review about your product so this does not happen to someone else and be out money . When posted this originally I did not get any response back from company.

Product worked well as described. For all my HP users this is the most cost effective ink replacement there is if you’re on a budget. So far I’ve had no issues with printing. When I did replace original ink it did prompt a message that the ink was not supported by HP which you’ll just accept if you wish. I would give this a try and I would definitely reorder from this company again for future use.

Purchased the 952XL color & black cartridges on September 7 for an HP OfficeJet Pro 7720. Replaced the color cartridges when the new ones came in, everything has been fine. Until today (October 11) when I tried to replace the black cartridge. Now I'm getting the "incompatible chip" error and I can't print anything. I also can't find anyway to bypass this. Apparently these HP firmware updates don't affect all HP printers the same way. There are reviews of these cartridges saying they're a scam- they aren't, they work fine AS LONG AS HP LETS THEM. Not the seller's fault, and HP has been involved in class action lawsuits in the past for doing this same thing. Meanwhile, I can't print, and I'm also out some money because I can't use this cartridge... which, again, I blame HP for.

I ordered these ink cartridges for my HP 8710 which per the compatibility chart they should be compatible, First cartridge I used was the Yellow, my printer was able to be recognized the cartridge, but it did call it out that it was not a genuine HP cartridge, but let it be used. However I probably only got maybe 200 -250 pages of color out of the cartridge before it needed replaced vs the 1600 as advertised (would be understandable if it made it to 1400-1500 pages, but 250, that's not even close.Later on I tried to install the Cyan and Magenta cartridge's and HP cannot recognize the microchip on either one of these cartridges so HP locked / blocked them out and the printer won't use them. Your details show they should have been 100% compatible with my HP 8710 printer.I would like to be refunded for my purchase as these INK cartridges are not compatible not so they last anywhere close to what is advertised.

I only used one cartridge so far and HP Pinter did not like it but it is working fine and the price is great

I couldn't believe the price I could pay for my XL printer ink! I went ahead and ordered it with some hesitation, thinking its probably not going to work right, but it was worth trying to find out. Once it came, I installed the ink cartridges and it is working the same as if I had paid HP prices! Thank you so much for giving us a great price for XL cartridges!! I will definitely order again!

We have The HP Office Jet Pro 8710. This is our very first time purchasing any other printer ink outside of The HP Brand. This product fits and works perfectly in our HP printer! It is strong clear ink just as HP’s. I am very impressed with the quality of this brand and have a good feeling that my family will be repeat/regular customers from now on.
