Added a unique taste to coffee

I bought this on a whim. So glad I did. I am not at all familiar with Yemeni cuisine, but if Yemeni kitchens smell like the yummy that was coming out of my soup pot, I am in!I added about a teaspoon to a pot of my standard chicken soup, which is made in a 10 quart pressure cooker with wings, thighs and as many backs as are saved in the freezer for exactly that purpose, CC&O, garlic, S&P, whatever wine I have leftover, if none, vermouth, and then water up to the fill line. I was pleasantly surprised by how much depth and warmth the addition made. I make a mean soup, of all stripes, next up will be my beef and veg.I have not tried the mix labelled for coffee. I don’t drink coffee very often. Sadly, as much as I love coffee, coffee doesn’t love me. I am going through my cookbook collection to see what I can make that might need some inspiration from the coffee mix-in. I’m thinking a lovely little coffee cake to start. Maybe a quick bread, like pumpkin. I might give another go at homemade chai, to boot!I highly, highly recommend. I recommend so highly I have purchased the set and gifted them to my friends that obsess over great food as much as I do.ps: Dry roasting for a tick, deepens the flavour and, by my estimation, makes the flavour even better.

Either my batch was very old or something because very little taste or even aroma. Ordered two bottles… after 1 use in my coffee, tossed both out.EDIT: After reading my review, the vendor reached out to me, apologized, and immediately and cheerfully gave me a full refund. I increased my rating from 1 to 4 stars because of the personal note from the vendor.Because of this, I will try ordering again as that kind of customer care is rare these days!

I bought this to make Iraqi date cookies (beh-beh) but I just tried it in coffee last night.... delightful! I put about a teaspoon and a half in with the coffee grounds when I brewed a 4 cup-pot. Then I mixed finished coffee with 2 tsp of sugar and half and half. It is not subtle, but not overpowering in the least. It's almost fresh tasting, in a way! Anyway, I used the coffee as iced coffee this morning and it is just so good that I came here to tell you about it! I very highly recommend anyone tries this

I want to be that mom that went out to the store, purchased each ingredient, measured it, documented it for social media, and wasted what would have been a lot of time and effort for me when I had other stuff to do with my son. I ordered this, it showed up on my doorstep the next day, and I spent that extra time making yummy dirty chai spice balls with the people I loved. Worth every penny, and a little goes a VERY long way. Great quality, tasted great, def a fan!!!!

I love this spice blend duo. I bought one for myself, then immediately repurchased it 2x to keep more on hand. Hawaijj is new to me and I’m so excited to add this flavor profile to my working knowledge of cooking. Also purchased it a number of times more as gifts. So good and happy to support Chani! Get it and make her Hawaijj Chicken Couscous Soup - a very easy crowd pleaser. My family’s new favorite comfort meal.

Glass bottle is so low quality that it chipped when I opened it, so now I cannot use the mix since I prefer my spices with no glass shards. This is too bad, it does smell good.
