I use this instead of pen-cells. I don’t have to keep swapping pen-cells, just charge when required. A bit expensive but worth it.

Does its job with no complaints and 6months on its still working great

A direct replacement for the standard 6-cell battery compartment The battery compartment connects to the transmitter via a small JST plug and this LiPo battery pack also has the same JST connector. The battery compartment slides out and this battery pack simply drops back in. The only thing you need is some sort of foam to pack around the LiPo battery to stop it rattling around inside as it is quite a bit smaller than the battery compartment it replaces. You'll also need a suiable (male) JST plug for charging the pack - using a LiPo compatible charger with a balance port for safety. I wouldn't recommend trying to carge the battery pack in-situ inside the transmitter. LiPos should, ideally, be charged inside a fireproof bag.

Good battery that fits perfectly into my radio link transmitter. Only problem is that it needs a dedicated smart balance charger.

Much easier than changing AA batteries and lasts much , much longer .
