Easy application

Faucet Lock
I have been having problems with tenants using the outside water to wash their cars and other water purposes. The problem is they leave it on afterwards. After several warnings I decided to find a way to lock it up. I am really happy with this TRADESAFE Outdoor Faucet Lock. It is simple and fast to install and really works to keep others from using the water. A few tenants have asked for a spare key but have not given any because I don't know who the culprit was. I bet with the use of this lock; my water expenses will be drastically reduced. If you are looking for an fast and easy way to lock out your water or other spigot systems, this is the way to go and I fully recommend it

Does the job, but it's overpriced
The enclosure seems to be ABS plastic just FYI. The lock that it comes with is fine, I had a bit of trouble getting the key out after locking. The lock is definitely cheap and wouldn't survive blunt force trauma. Overall, I'd say this item does the job and should deter random strangers from using your faucet. However, it won't survive someone determined to steal your water though, but it will take some effort on their part nonetheless. Good deterrent, overpriced for what it is. Should be around $8-10. I'd look at other options available.

Very heavy strong lock so happy quick shipping
so thankful had quick shipping!! was living in a complex and the new neighbors decided they were going to use or steal my water which is SO expensive here. Ordered and got it next day and this thing is heavy. I got the metal one obviously and used my own lock. Highly recommend so far.

Easy to install
Absolutely love this lock, and it is so easy to use! One of our water hose spigots is outside of our fence and easily accessible to anyone walking by. This just provides an extra level of security for us, as we have found someone out there helping themselves before.

Not high security
This water spigot lock is good for those who want something simple to secure their water spigot from lazy HOA landscapers, cheap neighbors and neighborhood kids. The ABE plastic is weatherproof and strong but can be easily pried open with a screwdriver or pocketknife. The key lock is a step up from your average luggage lock. The 3/8" lock hole is large enough for a more substantial lock. This water spigot lock fit my needs, however, should I find that it has been defeated, I will purchase one of the metal spigot locks.

Works well..
I have a Squatter next door and they don’t have their water on, so they were going to steal mine. The housing is a hard plastic which could be broken easily if someone got real desperate. But it serves the purpose and the squatter is staying off my property… I recommend this as a deterrent…..
