I needed to replace my old Simms waders and turned to Amazon to order a new pair. Amazon's so-called size chart needs improvement. The official Simms wader size chart is excellent, very detailed and easy to select one's ideal size. Yet, when ordering off the Amazon's size chart which lacks size details, e.g., foot size, chest, & hip dimensions, you take your best guess. I had to return two orders of Simms waders. The first wader was way too big and the second waders too small. I only want Simms waders and will try a third time with a different size. Amazon should use the official Simms wader size chart to avoid this problem of guessing the size.

I've worn these about 8x so far in water that was around 40-50 degrees. Never really got too cold. Walking around I didn't overheat either. They seem to be pretty thick and well made. See how well they hold up.

Lightweight and breathable. Long term simms advocate and they keep delivering good quality products. They don’t last as long as Simms waders from 20 years ago, but I just send them off to get the seams sealed at a local guy in years 2-3 and I get another couple of seasons out of them . I like the fit

Attracted to Simms because the ability to order short inseam size. 5' 9" 178lbs. and LS size fit really good. Winter here so can't comment on durability, etc. but think the waders will work really good and look forward to using the waders for hopefully years to come.

Great waders that appear to have the bones to last a while. Only problem I have is that the inside wader pouch was removed from mine prior to shipping them to me requiring me to spend extra money on a new pouch

The only thing I regret is not buying the XLL instead of the XL. I am 6'3'' and 250 lbs. Of course, I'm a bit old school and like my belt comfortably above my hips.Concerning the waders themselves, and putting my poor decision making aside, I would be pressed to say anything negative about the waders. They are comfortable, fit perfectly and are always a very rugged pair of waders. On top of that, Simms has the best warranty coverage and support for wader repair and/or replacement in the business.I don't think there is a better wader in the $300 range.

I’ve had Cabelas, LL Bean, Orvis, and every kind of $100 plus pair of waders made. You cannot compete with Simms waders AND they are made in the USA. For $299 these are well worth the price. I’m done with buying waders that don’t fit right or leak after coming out of winter storage. These fit like they should. There were 16 different size options. They have great features like hand warming pouch pockets and suspenders that stay in your shoulders. If you love fishing, buy equipment that makes you comfortable and happy while doing what you love. These waders will do that.

I tried the waders for the first time and could tell that they were going work very well. they fit as they should, looking forward to many useful years with them.
