The key blade of my backup i10 key came away from the fob and rather than spend £100+ at the Hyundai dealer for a replacement I decided to try a repair! Unfortunately for me my original fob was a nightmare to open and I had to take a hacksaw to it! I understand that some of the newer cases are easier to open though, but be warned, you may need to use force to get into yours! Once I had extracted the circuit board and chip I began to assemble them in the new case. I would recommend looking up a Youtube video for help. Everything was going well until I found that the key blade that I was using for my knackered key did not fit into the slot in the new fob. If you are having the supplied blank blade cut, then this is not an issue, but I wanted to use my original key blade, so I had to do some filing to make it fit, which was a bit of a pain. Once this was done it was a case holding all the bits and pieces in place whilst trying to snap the two sections closed - one of those jobs where an extra hand would be helpful! Once this was done everything was fine. The materials of the fob are of good quality as are the plastic buttons. The two free tools were a nice touch, although the one used to knock out the split pin broke. There is also an enclosed extra rubber keypad, for locking/unlocking, but being rubber it is squidgier than the plastic one included with the key fob. Despite all the faffing around I was pleased with the item. I deducted two stars for ease of installation as the key blade did not fit the fob.

This replacement case surprised me with it’s build quality. There is a weight to it that other cases of this type lack and the plastic is nicely textured. It also has place holders if wish to get the correct car maker stickers for it. A good replacement for that old tired ugly case you’ve been meaning to replace for a while.

I got this for our Hyundai Santa Fe. The switching of the electronics and key is a little tricky and requires patience. My problem is that after the switchover, the car unlocks and locks but the car won't start, the immobiliser light flashes on the dashboard. Maybe I missed a step in the instructions?

Excellent value, excellent product. Used only the keypad after following a youtube tutorial. Was very easy to replace and my key is now like new. Very, very pleassed with the product, another one is already in my basket. (over £200 saved by not going to T****ns or car dealership)( No wonder I'm very happy!) Highly recommend!

It done the job. But was hard to get together. You need to wind the spring for the blade. But when I shut it all up. The blade won't open. Probably user error. But... it was for my spare and it's fine for that

Because of nails( mine) my lock/open part of my key fob had holes in them & just wouldn’t work so had to use spare key.A friend said it cost her nearly £200 to replace her key😫so I had a look on line & found this one, I initially thought you had to replace the whole fob but it came with the insert to just replace the middle bit which was very easy to do,Great product at a great price.

Arrivato come da descrizione e naturalmente nel tempo previsto. Tuttavia trasferirci la vecchia key non è proprio facile.Ricordate di traferire anche il microchip altrimenti la macchina non si avvierà!

El producto es tal cual como se indica, es la carcasa para guardar la propia electrónica de la llave original e incluso llave física. El tamaño es idéntico al original. Se compró porque los botones estaban totalmente desgastados con el uso del tiempo el original, aproximadamente unos 8 años, un deterioro más que justificado. Por lo tanto solo se requerirá cambiar la estética, todo lo demás funcionaba bien, aunque la parte del muelle si que aveces iba y otras no. Es muy sencillo de pasar el contenido de un sitio al otro, existen videos informativos en internet, aunque con lógica también lo sacas. La llave original con logo, desmontarlo si que cuesta algo más, se requiere de fuerza y maña, para hacerlo con delicadeza. Y la nueva, tiene un mini tornillo que fija todo muy Bien. Una vez echo esa parte simplemente hay que desmontar la parte de la llave física, el eje para ponerle con el nuevo y el muelle nuevo. La electrónica se ve perfectamente. Y otra parte que consiste en una pieza blanca que cubre otra negra. Básicamente pasar todo de un sitio y colocarlo en el otro. A la hora de colocar el muelle con la llave física, el muelle consta de dos partes la de arriba y abajo, la de abajo, tiene una puntita salida hacia el exterior y arriba hacia el interior. Simplemente metes el eje, hasta que entre del todo en la llave física, pones en esa parte la parte del muelle arriba y en la carcasa nueva la parte del muelle de abajo, lo colocas y vas dando vueltas, vas notando la fuerza, da aproximadamente 2-4 vueltas, ya no recuerdo, una vez hecho eso, montas con el resto y listo. Al darle al botón, se despliega solo! Magia y cuidado con que no se pase de vueltas y se deforme el muelle! Se hace bastante sencillo el proceso, no lleva más de 30 minutos ni 10 si se te da bien ;) y funciona perfectamente. Como es lógico, en la parte de atrás no lleva el logo. Pero es idéntico, en tamaño y calidad. Cosa que de forma original podría costar 50€

J ai Remplacer pour l instant cache bouton de silicone très difficile changer avec beaucoup de patience .Il faut enlever la partie sous les bouton en silicone nettoyer les picots je répète bient netoyer les picots , ensuite il faut mettre le cache en silicone et la partie inférieur en même temps et faire forte pression avec ces doit.j espère que sa vas vous aider

Outil pour retirer la petite pointe c'est cassé très vite. Du coup il a fallu faire du système D
