Really good! Long run-time.
Update: After a few months usage, I have found this this heater is designed for higher-mix ratios of Butane:Propane. Regular summer gas EN417 cans are 90:10, and just really won't work with this heater. Summer gas is for cooking only. With summer gas this stove will be really hard to light, if not impossible. The next gas mix ratio is typically called 'performance' gas for winter use down to -10C and is a 70:30 mix ratio. This gas works perfectly with this heater and what it is designed for.If you are camping in in very low temperatures you can get 'Extreme performance' gas at 60:40 - which is rated down to -25C. I found the latter to be unnecessary however the latter does through out a LOT more heat. Please note that external bulk LPG tanks are a 50:50 ratio and work perfectly. USA Gas 1 pound tanks tend to be LPG also and thus work great with this heater.Lighting will be difficult/impossible if you use standard summer gas. This heater is not designed for that and should have said so in the instructions. The main features of this heater is it's long run time and that it is near silent for a heater of this type so great for hunting and fishing.I cannot fault it.When you first light it you will need to hold the button 30 or so seconds before the system is fully primed to stay lit. This heater is ideal for small spaces where longer run-time and not generating too much heat is needed, such as an RV or smaller. For most people your investment might be better placed in the Mr Heater Buddy Heater and an large external gas cylinder. The standard Buddy Heater however in comparison will usually produce too much heat and deplete oxygen levels too much and put itself out after half an hour. The standard Buddy Heater actually also takes up around the same floor-space so if you need a rapid boost the standard Buddy Heater is better, for longer runtime and constant topup the Little Buddy is waaay better. Some people of put off by the somewhat top-heavy looking design, but it's designed to heat, not to win a fashion contest. It is quite stable, and you don't need to worry about it tipping over as it will cut off automatically with a tilt-switch.The killer feature of this heater howerver is that it sips gas, so while a long burn time is a given - the gas temperature has time to equalise and don't get so cold that the gas stops vapourising. The bigger Mr Heaters draw gas so fast that they will freeze the can half way down in comparisson.Highly recommended.

Heat is instant
The heat is instant and really well made in the US, not a Chinese imitation. I actually think it is the same company as Dewalt. The site offered me a hose connection kit 'as if they are bought together' that was supposed to be made by Mr Heater (which I don't know if that is true) and was about 1m long and looked like a silver shower hose and had various different connectors so that you can connect it to virtually anything, but it didn't have the connector in the kit to connect it to the heater itself and I thought, I'll just order an adapter but no such thing existed. I had to return that and bought another hose by Mr Heater which is about 5m long for around the same price. Be careful with the hoses as the cheap ones get destroyed by the oil and the corrosion/breakdown of the rubber goes into the heater and damages the heater and remember you are inhaling the toxins.I also bought the oil filter from another site and got them imported from the US, it fits perfectly on the heater end of the attachment chain of things. Still means the oil went down the pipe if it is a cheap nasty pipe or the mr heater pipe (which is graded and promise not to break down the rubber) and gets to the oil filter which prevents oil getting into the heater. I say all this because propane is oil based gas... The little 1lb cannisters do not need the oil filter as they don't have the oil problem in the cannisters but the big red propane bottles do have the oil.I got a bag for it which is actually a cooler/thermal rucksack and it fit the heater inside with the 1lb cannister laid on top and the front pocket with the hose etc. Half the price of the real branded Mr Heater bag. Really happy with this heater
Really happy with this purchase. Works well using coleman gas for it. Only thing o would change is wished it had a slightly lower heat setting. It only has 2 which are hot, and volcanic hot π₯ π.

Amazing little heater!
I bought this initially for work. I am in a bay in a big workshop and the doors are constantly opened and closed. It can get cold. I had an electric heater but it kept tripping the circuit breaker on my extension. This heater works perfectly to heat my space but a word of caution, it burns a lot of gas, so if your plan is to have it on for a long time, over a couple hours a day, you will be buying a lot of gas.I am hoping to refill the cylinders I have used or hook up to a 13 kg patio gas cylinder but am just in the research phase at the moment.
