Cooking with Steve and Ronnie: More to life than Carrots Paperback – 5 May 2023

This book is wonderful. The illustrations are wonderful and the little antidote of Steve and Ronnie are hilarious. Recipes look fab can't wait to try them out when grand daughter comes to visit. Great value would highly recommend to friends.

This book is created by a very clever pair of donkeys named Steve and Ronnie. They are the stars of Jacob’s Ridge Animal Sanctuary in Spain, and regularly get up to mischief and mayhem, usually involving eating something they shouldn’t (often Julian the sanctuary owner’s clothes!).This book is a great little selection of main meal, snack, breakfast and lunch recipes, all plant based - the donkeys would never suggest people eat their friends! 😊The illustrations are beautiful and capture the personalities of these infamous animals perfectly.Check out the sanctuary YouTube videos for more of their antics - ‘who broke into the feed shed’ is not to be missed!This would make a lovely gift or treat for yourself, and as all profits go to helping the sanctuary, what’s not to love? 🥰

Simple easy recipes even a donkey can create.

This book not only has some lovey recipes, it also has some great illustrations and funny little notes from Steve and Ronnie, the "Donkeys of Chaos" at Jacobs Ridge Animal Sanctuary. A wonderful book with 100% of proceeds going to the sanctuary. I would highly recommend it.

I have followed Jacobs Ridge sanctuary on You Tube for a while and Steve and Ronnie are lovely donkeys who feature in the videos. This little book is delightful with lovely drawings and a few vegan recipes. Buying this supports the sanctuary as well as raising a smile

This is the funniest cook book I have ever seen! But you need to go on FB or you tube to see the context!All the profits go to the sanctuary for the care of the animals. They do regular videos about their rescued animals and they are mostly amusing- but sometimes sad. This couple- Julian and Rachel are amazing. They do a live update ever Sunday evening. The recipes are great too!!!

What a book and a charity great for a Christmas prezzy

I bought it mainly because I follow Jacobs Ridge I am a big donkey & animal lover !! I just love the characters & fantastic drawing of the donkeys coming to light … oh yes recipes are good too ❤️

If anyone follows Jacob’s Ridge, falling in love with these 2 donkeys Steve and Ronnie makes them part of your very own family! Thanks to Julian and Rachel!!I would definitely recommend following Jacob’s Ridge Animal Sanctuary where they lovingly rescue and care for animals previously in dreadful conditions. This cookbook has wonderful recipes blended with donkey humour:)

Great vegan recipes that even non-vegans would enjoy. The book is worth it for the wonderfully rendered illustrations of Steve and Ronnie. There are even a few pictures of Ben, the pig. It's sure to put a smile on your face and brighten your day. Worth every penny and it goes to a great cause!

Love Steve and Ronnie, and this is a great way to make a donation to the sanctuary. The illustrations are fantastic. Somehow Virag Gyorgy manages to get the humour of Steve and Ronnie into his drawings. I would have bought it just for the illustrations.
