Didn’t work at all - takes FOREVER to heat up -
Horrible experience with this. I bought this because of some of the reviews, but mine was very far away from the good comments. Besides that, the wax takes forever to heat. After I did the waxing, my armpits started hurting very badly and even bleeding. I’ve done my own waxing since I’m 19 (I’m 30 years old now) - so I have experience doing this, and it’s not that my skin is extra sensitive. This is the first time that my skin has had this type of reaction, which talks very badly about the quality of this wax. It has been two weeks since I used this product, and my armpit is still not healing, and it hurts very bad. I regret completely getting this product, and this is why I want to warn everyone to get it.

Smooth legs, no shaving!
This honey wax warmer exceeded my expectations! It takes the mess of honey wax out of the equation, and makes waxing my own legs almost effortless. I do leave the unit plugged in for a much longer time than they suggest- sometimes an hour. It does not overheat. It glides on smoothly, and the cloth strips remove the hair perfectly! So far I have used it twice- once every four weeks. I definitely recommend exfoliating before waxing. Works fantastic! I would definitely recommend and buy again!

“WaxFans” Home Waxing Kit ….
The media could not be loaded. This wax works really well, it doesn’t get hot enough to burn you yet its warm enough that it rolls on smoothly and it doesn’t irritate the skin (of course you have some irritation from the waxing process in general but the wax itself didn't cause any issues). After letting the wax sit and warm up for 20 minutes it was ready to go. At first I unplugged it to start the application but I soon left it plugged in and continued to apply the wax so it didn’t cool down enough to not be effective (which I was afraid it was starting to do when I was initially unplugging it between every use). I had my daughter be the model for this tutorial and this was the first time she has ever used wax to remove leg hair so she was a little nervous not knowing what to expect. As you can see in the video it really works ! And yes, anyone who’s ever waxed knows that there is some initial acute pain that comes with waxing but she did say that overall it wasn’t bad and that it really didn’t hurt as much as she made it out to sound (she is a teenager though so she can be just a tad dramatic at times, lol). I didn’t think the wax had any kind of scent good or bad, there was just no smell at all. I am interested to see how long it will last. In the description for this product the claim is that it lasts 6 weeks. That would be absolutely fantastic if this holds true. I will update my review with a timeframe for this once I have one. As it stands, I would definitely recommend this product for all your at home waxing needs !

Mostly unpleasant experience from an experienced user.
TL;DR version: Wax doesn’t get warm enough to spread easily, is unpleasant to manage, and cannot/should not be applied directly to skin despite directions. Wax and strips are effective in removing hair and spray is effective in removing remaining wax but overall experience was below average.Years ago, I owned the Homedics waxing kit that included pre-waxed, sandwiched strips that you put inside what was essentially a flat Panini press, and once warm, they pulled apart and were applied directly to the skin. I loved that kit. But then the warmer died. That so was years ago! I never found a suitable replacement until I discovered this type of kit, which, turns out, is quite different. Here’s what I learned:Removing the protective foil from the wax dispenser is a challenge. Good luck. There’s a pull tab. Eventually I gave up and left the outer foil on (see photo). Probably best to remove it all though, because it snags otherwise. The directions say to warm the wax for 15-20 minutes. That was not long enough. It took closer to 30 minutes to get the wax to a spreadable texture, and even then, it wasn’t nearly as warm as I think it should have been. I did this in a bathroom that was approximately 74 degrees, which I believe is warm enough to accurately test. The directions also say to apply directly on your skin unless the wax is TOO warm, in which case, apply to the paper strips instead. First, it never got “too” warm, so that was of no concern. Second, DO NOT ATTEMPT TO APPLY DIRECTLY TO YOUR SKIN. This is not a roll-on deodorant, as much as it looks like one. This is some tacky-as-all-get-out stuff that really shouldn’t even be called wax. If you have the kind of skin that bruises when bandages are removed, you will really, really regret attempting to drag this across your skin – especially in more sensitive areas. And, if you had trouble with the foil and gave up like I did, that just adds to the unpleasant experience. PLEASE DO NOT DO THIS. I’m begging you. I found I had the greatest success when I put the paper strip on the counter and rolled the wax onto the strip on the solid surface. I also found that I had to do it more than once to get adequate wax coverage. The paper strips are very durable and I had no trouble with tearing or pulling. If you are doing smaller areas, I recommend cutting the strips to fit the area you are waxing. For my underarms, I cut the strips in half and they were exactly the right size. Now, as far as actual hair removal, I thought the wax and the strips did a pretty decent job. The directions also say not to wax the same area twice, but I did because I have stupid stubborn hair that grows in every possible direction, making it impossible to go against the grain in one pass. When I was done, I used the after-wax treatment spray, which did an excellent job of removing the remaining tacky wax from my skin. It doesn’t take much spray to be effective. Then I washed with soap and water and applied my regular deodorant, and all is right with the world. It’s difficult to assign an overall star rating to this. The wax removal spray is definitely a 5-star product. The fact that the kit comes with two wax packs at the current price point should make it a 5-star kit. I think the ratio of wax to paper strips is off though – I’ll be running out of strips long before I run out of wax. But the most important thing: Between the warmer and the wax itself – and I don’t know which is to blame – I can’t see rating the actual waxing experience any higher than a two because of the effort involved in spreading not-very-warm wax.

Worth it
I was skeptical, but it is perfect for legs, arms, underarms. A little difficult to bikini/brazillian area- i made it work-but will not be using it for that area again. It missed some of the finer hairs-i wouldn’t wax that same area multiple times, but it was a lot quicker and I like it

Just no
The roller would NOT roll. Even after letting it heat for 45 minutes, It hurt worse than actually pulling the hair out of my leg.
