These folders are an excellent upgrade of the old paper filing folders of days gone by. Very durable, can take the wear and tear of pulling it out and filling it with documents to file

Look at the sales pictures carefully and you will notice two things: First that the hanging folder itself is clear, and second, that the haning rods are actually plastic. If you are used to the kind in an office, these are not like those green folders with metal hangers. These are thicker black plastic. So they don't bend like the metal ones which is good, but I guess they could crack. But they will probably outlive the documents anyway. So, they are good for home use I think, can load them up and still see what is in them when you pull them out of the drawer. They slide just as well as the metal and with no flex like the metal when you overload them. However, have to be a bit more careful with the clear hanging file itself, it can tar along the fold/seam if you aren't careful and overfill them. I did one and learned my lesson. I don't know if I would order these plastic types again, but they work well so far.

I love these folders. They are very durable and do not collapse like regular file folders. They hold a lot of papers and you don’t need to worry about them bending over. Perfect for plastic file containers for teachers.

The hanging folders are great; however, several splines that slip through the top of the folder, to hold the folder onto the file drawer, were not included. I pulled out a few metal splines from traditional folders and used them. The thick, clear folders and sturdy splines were exactly what I wanted. Just disappointed that all splines were not included.

Got these for my file cabinet. Love the sleek look. But actually thick plastic and very durable. Love these and would love more!

Wish it came with tags but at least it's transparent and sturdy with hooks. I need it to put assortments of different birthdays, get well, holiday cards. This is perfect!
