Terrible product!!
My wife and I purchased this since we were visiting family for Christmas and our cat would be alone for 25th and 26th Dec. We downloaded the app (with questionable English) and set up the feeder - connecting it to WiFi, plugging it in and putting in batteries for backup. We set the app to dispense the correct morning and evening feed on Christmas Eve while we were still at home to check it was working properly. The app lets you know the feeds have been successful with date and time of feed. We checked he’d been fed on Christmas morning and it said he had successfully. However from that evening onwards to our return today (27th) there were no further feeds noted on the app. Instead there were repeats of feeds on Christmas Eve (saying he’d been fed four times in a row even though we were there and it had only dispensed one feed in the morning and one in the evening.) Christmas Day morning also changed to display five feeds in a row (all with the same time down to the second). Sure enough when we returned today the food is still full to the brim and nothing had been dispensed. Our cat is old (hence why we were reluctant to board him or take him with us) and was very weak when we returned. This app left us anxious whilst away and ultimately let us down completely. The customer service details are for China and a WeChat number is provided - nobody to speak to. Avoid buying at all costs!

DO NOT BUY
Firstly, just to clear up some confusion regarding the reviews, there is drop-down above for two variants of this product. One is cheaper and has no WiFi; you configure the product using buttons on the device. The other is the "W" variant which is (in theory) configured via a smart app using your home WiFi. I bought the Petwant F3 a year ago and it's been extremely reliable and the smart phone app, whilst basic, is very effective. Unable to get another F3, I bought this F1. The first disappointment is discovering that the app I use for my F3 no longer accepts the adding of additional devices. In poor English, it refers me to a "test app" however the URL re-direct fails to work! There is another app in the Google Play Store which apparently is meant to be used for the F1. This different Petwant app asks for your SSID. It doesn't scan for WiFi networks and lets you pick the right one; no, it makes you type in your WiFi network name and password. Mystifyingly, it doesn't matter what you enter, as it then asks you to connect to the "Petwant" WiFi network. This is a fairly typical process for connecting a device to your home WiFi. Except, the "Petwant" WiFi network never, ever appeared for me. So I can't configure this expense set of cheap plastic. So I'm returning it. An absolutely appalling product. Pity, as the F3 was very good.

Product is “OK” must have some adjustments
It comes only with 2.4GHz WiFi connection, makes no sense, to connect on your WiFi, once all routers are 5.0GHz wifi, you must access your router, turn 5.0GHz wifi off, connect the feeder and then access the router and turn on back the 5.0GHz WiFi. Once or other, if you accidentally turn off your device, the WiFi configuration mentioned above must be done back again, despite of it, it works fine, you can control the feeding from your phone and see how much of food you gave to your pet! One more thing I missed, an UV sensor that avoid overfeeding, some of feeders on marketing has an UV system that before release more food, check if already there is food on tray, what I decided at the end, we installed a camera at the place where our dog is, we check if there is food on tray and then we feed from our mobile except if we are really busy and can’t feed remotely. Overall, it is an “OK” product and the app works fine and provides clear information

Tengo el comedero desde el año 2018. Hace una semana cambiamos el router de casa, el aparato se bloqueó y es imposible configurarlo. Se ha quedado inservible, no se puede conectar a la red y no hay otra manera de programarlo. Hasta ahora había funcionado bien.

Nonostante molti feedback negativi su questo distributore di crocchette, ho voluto dargli una possibilità. Mi piaceva l'idea di poter controllare tutto anche da fuori casa, anche se questo non è provvisto di videocamera, ma solo di uno speaker. Purtroppo ho davvero poco di cui parlare, dato che anche nel mio caso il prodotto non funziona come dovrebbe. Esteticamente convincente, con un unico tasto superiormente che se premuto effettivamente eroga una porzione di crocchette. Naturalmente non è questo il modo in cui dovrebbe funzionare, infatti non può essere programmato per via dell'impossibilità di collegamento con il router. Ho provato davvero in ogni modo, ma non c'è stato verso. Sconsiglio questo prodotto.

Le produit reçu n'est pas neuf, présente des rayures et n'est même pas correctement nettoyé à l'intérieur. Il n'est pas livré avec une prise française mais uniquement une prise UK. Pas d'adaptateur fourni, j'ai donc essayé avec des piles. Impossible d'activer le wifi malgré 1 minutes d'appui sur le bouton set (les 5secondes indiquées dans la notice, reçue gribouillée et raturée... ne fonctionnent pas non plus. A mon avis, le produit était utilisé jusqu'à une panne. Le vendeur s'est contenté de le remettre en circulation.... J'aurais du me fier aux avis déjà présents sur le produit...

(CAT) EL MÉS GREU: quan se'n va llum s'activa un avís acústic que no desapareix quan la corrent torna. L'aparell no ho detecta. Imagineu-vos, vosaltres fora de cap de setmana i els veïns a casa amb el xiuilet dia i nit... Això, a més, és incompresible que passi quan hi ha les piles col·locades. Si et vols estalviar aquest tràngol el pots deixar el mode piles però llavors resulta que la funció wifi desapareix i llavors no pots interactuar amb ell, que és justament pel que l'has comprat. imcompresible. També, a hores d'ara encara no he aconseguit descobrir com s'enregistra veu a l'aparell. El manual no dona cap mena d'instrucció. En fi, hi ha molt marge de millora. (CAST) LO MÁS GRAVE: cuando se va luz se activa un aviso acústico que no desaparece cuando la corriente vuelve. El aparato no lo detecta. Imaginaos, vosotros fuera de fin de semana y los vecinos en casa con el silbido día y noche... Esto, además, es incompresible que pase cuando hay las pilas colocadas. Si te quieres ahorrar este trance lo puedes dejar el modo pilas pero entonces resulta que la función wifi desaparece y entonces no puedes interactuar con él, que es justamente por lo que lo has comprado. imcompresible. También, a estas alturas todavía no he conseguido descubrir cómo se registra voz en el aparato. El manual no da ningún tipo de instrucción. En fin, hay mucho margen de mejora.

ce fait maintenant un an que nous l'utilisons pour nos deux chats, cela fonctionne parfaitement en wifi, en cas de coupure de courant la pile prend le relais, mais plus de fonction wifi donc plus d'acces a la machine avec l'application mobile, application qui est maintenant complétement traduite en anglais donc aucun problème d'utilisation. nous recommandons à nouveau une gamelle wifi pour le deuxieme chat donc très content. une chose à savoir sur an nous avons eu deux perte de programmation donc plus de livraison de croquette nous ne savons pas pourquoi mais deux fois en 1 an ce n'est pas spécialement inquiétant, nous pouvons en cas d'absence vérifié à distance que les croquettes sont bien livrées.
