I was worried that these would not be able to hold up against hulk smashing but I was proven wrong.

These scissors are sturdy, I've been using them in the backyard to trim bushes and garden plants. Very sharp, and they look nice.

This is my 2nd pair. It has a nice weight and very sharp edges, for cutting fabric. I accidentally cut through a metal pin, I left in my fabric, with my 1st pair. 🤦🏻‍♀️

I needed to replace a pair of Fiskars scissors I have owned for 30+ years when I lost the set screw. I replaced it but afterward it no longer cut properly. I was disappointed to find that Fiskars no longer made that 10 inch model but instead shrunk them down to 8". I wrote to Fiskars, but there was no response, so I searched for others. The closest I could find was from QMVESS.I am very happy with the purchase. The size and fit are almost identical to the scissors I've used for decades. They cut well and are comfortable in my size 10 (men's) hands. But are they better than Fiskars? Only time will tell, and I will update this review as it passes.The QMVESS are forged steel, while the Fiskars are stamped. Forged steel is more expensive, but in this case the QMVESS are a bit heaver. The QMVESS have a "spring washer" that maintains tension. that seems like a good thing lacking in Fiskars. The pivot point of the QMVESS is a bit more forward which should provide more leverage, but haven't noticed any advantage. QMVESS are manufactured in China while Fiscars are from Finland.At the moment, I am giving the edge to QMVESS, but miss my old Fiskars.

Plenty of hand room and ergo comfortable. Strong and sturdy plenty sharp for Jean jackets material. A must purchase bang for your buck. Light and easy cutting thru heavy material. A must buy!
