Works very well, even with no direct sun on it. Just needs a bright day!

Brilliant, extra finction, intermittent delay, battery storage overnight

Trying the pump immediately after receiving it, it ran for about 3 minutes whilst the solar cell was in the light, but then cut out.There are two buttons on the base of the solar cell. One turns the unit on and off, and the other cycles through green, blue and light blue. There are no instructions though in the packet so it isn't clear as to whether the pump is waterproof or not. The pictures of the advert seem to suggest it is outside, but it does say not to submerse the pump or get water in the hole.For the moment I have put the pump itself in a drybox, but it will not be able to stay there because it is too noisy from the vibrations. The pump itself is quite quiet, but it does vibrate a lot.After a couple of days of being outside, even in the autumn/winter light we have at the moment, the pump is running fine and producing bubbles in our small pond.

Got this during the winter season with less sunlight. Not working as expected when not enough sunlight but if bright enough (without direct sunlight) the aerator works ‘okay’. Enough oxygen to keep my fish 🐟 in small pond happy. Hopefully it lasts till summer and gives far better bubbles when sun is out more!

Unfortunately this went back rather quickly. The output to both stones was irregular at best but by about day 4 they’d cut out completely despite being in full sun for most of the day.

My fish love this environmentally conscious product.No need for 240 V supply only Mother Natures golden ball in the sky.
