I have never had my curls come out as beautifully as they did with the Bio Ionic Long Barrel Styler! The long barrel makes it so much easier to style longer sections of hair quickly, and the curls actually last all day without touch-ups. Seriously, I only had 30 minutes to curl my hair for a wedding and it was perfect. I will attach a photo of the finished product. It heats up fast, glides smoothly through the hair, and leaves a soft, shiny finish without frizz. My hair felt healthy even after styling, and the design made it super comfortable to use. If you’ve struggled to get consistent, salon-quality curls at home, this tool is absolutely worth the investment. Highly recommend!

I have used many curling irons, but this one beats all of them. The long barrel, the cool tip at the end makes curling my hair so easy. It also gives my hair a shine. The curls stay in all day and it is a pleasure to use.

This is the best curling iron that I have ever owned. The curls look great and hold up really well, I never have to worry about getting creases from the clamp. The piece at the end stays cool so that you can hold on to it without worrying about getting burnt. The heat has multiple settings and it has a locking feature so that you don't accidentally change the heat mid curl, super convenient. It seems like they really thought about safety and functionality with this curling iron, it shuts off automatically after an hour. Ultimately it is worthy every penny and I would absolutely recommend splurging on this iron!

I'll start by saying I really liked the performance of my Babyliss Pro I had been using since Aug 2024. The only reason I went back on the hunt for a new one is that the Babyliss does not have auto shut-off (as my prior few models had) and I was weary of getting to the end of my street and heading back home to be sure I turned it off. Reviews on the Bio Ionic were some of the best I had seen and it had every feature I sought: digital with multiple heat settings and auto shut-off. The longer barrel was but a bonus for my long hair that hits mid back. So, I was quite excited to try it out. The first thing I noticed and was quite disappointed by was that the built in stand didn't prevent the top several inches of the rod from resting on the counter surface. That certainly wasn't great, but I got massively frustrated the first time I used it because I kept unintentionally changing the temperature up or down as I tried to wind each curl. Changed the position of my hand and very intentionally attempted to NOT keep doing it to no avail. Ughhh. I was so annoyed. I was going to keep it a bit longer and try to find a method that didn't cause the buttons to move but also realized that the back parts of my hair weren't even getting a curl. I made sure that it was on the right temp (360) and that it had been on that setting for a good minute (you know, since the last time I accidentally changed it) and it still came out as straight as a sheet. My babyliss was still on the counter and I turned it on to my normal temp (355) and did the same section of hair with a perfect very loose curl. As a point of information, my stylist says my hair is "fine but I have a ton of it" I do use smaller sections in the front that I am trying to achieve a bit more of a curl than the back where I am just trying to smooth it and give it a bit it a wave and I have been successful in achieving that with Babyliss (3 models), Hot Tools (2 models), and Kristen Ess curling irons in that 360-ish range without any problem. Why this one couldn't do it I don't know, but between that, the stand not keeping the hot rod off the counter, and the inadvertent temp changes, it is sadly being returned. Glad others like it and I sure hope I can find my new favorite soon.

The best curling iron ever. The barrel is so smooth it makes curling really easy. I got the longer 2in barrel and it leaves my curls looking effortless. Highly recommend!

Love the long barrel and heat options but I gave it 4 stars because with the way I grip and curl my hair it constantly hits the heat setting and it gets a bit annoying. But otherwise everything else is great.

Before purchasing this, I had curled my hair with a $15 curler and a $20 curler, 5 times each. I had never curled my hair in my lifetime more than 10 times. I was a complete beginner and I thought I was crazy for spending the amount of money I did on this. HOWEVER, holy dang I would recommend this to anyone, even beginners, who want to curl their hair. It is AWESOME. This thing is very well made and I like the coating on it which makes my hair feel soft and does not snag while curling. I have medium thickness hair and I would say the curls hold decently.
