Illnesses and accidents make most of us question God and the nature of God. Why would a benevolent being put us through such painful and difficult times? Your Soul’s Plan is an important read for many reasons and for anyone on a quest to understand the rhyme and reason of life on earth. Through a series of interviews with real people facing very real life challenges and by working with them and three incredibly gifted mediums, Robert Schwartz sets out to help us understand the elaborate game we each design for ourselves to play through our life experiences. “All the world’s a stage and all the men and women merely players”, said Shakespeare. The script is more of a storyboard around which we must improvise in the hope of awakening to our selves. That is, in the hope we realise that we are in fact wearing costumes and playing roles and come to understand who we are beneath the façade, beneath the character sketch we draw before we enter the theatre. A mind- and eye-opening read, this book is an important exploration of spirituality and spiritual reality. This is not our real life. This is but one chapter in a book as long as we need it to be to reach the ultimate end. How we react to our challenges, however great or small, may seem inconsequential to us as we wade through the hum-drum of daily life. But it means everything to our spirit, to our eternal selves. Your Soul’s Plan offers not only understanding but also inspiration. Well worth reading and one that can be revisited years down the line to measure its impact on how we proceed from reading.

A good read to have new perspective to life.it really enhanced the horizon of my understanding of compassion and forgiveness.

This book resonated with my thoughts re this physical existence, helped me to find peace and understanding of some of life's oddities. Guilt and self critisim are truly ego based tools we use far too much at times, self acceptance, even with the bad we do, is freeing when you realise the plan behind our choices. Went a little too far for me at times but as we are all unique I had no problem accepting those areas were not helpful to me, others will feel differently! Peace of mind comes for some after reading this.

I did love the book. Thank you very much Sir for the account of all these lives and their courageous journeys. Thank you very much for all the wisdom that is encapsulated in these pages. It really helps to better understand the world we live in and it helps with raising our inner peace. Thank you very much for that. A few remarks and some questions I have that are left unanswered though: - Does someone who lives through child abuse or rape choose this experience in every case? If so, why? - Does someone choose to be born in a poor, unstable and under-developed country? If so, why? - Has a collective of souls chosen Africa to be this poverty and disease-stricken continent? Is Africa the continent of choice for experiencing the atrocities we know are happening there, and should we be grateful for this? How does one not become mad as he wrestles with the possibility of such an idea? - The book feels too US-centric. It would have been good to have examples from diverse countries, diverse continents and diverse cultures. - It would have been good to further explore the difference between a soul choice and a free-will choice. Example: the mistake of the nurse which made one of the characters blind at birth, the boyfriend who kills his partner the mum, they seem to have been acts of 'free-will', which generated an unplanned course of events. It renders the frontier between the planned and the unplanned very blurry. Another book with the exploration and explanation of this would be amazing. Thanks again.

Robert Schwartz' book 'Your Soul's Plan' in which with the the help of Mediums he communicates with persons souls to discuss how their lives had come to experience great hardships and challenges, is remarkable. The astonishing outlook they offer is that the souls themselves, in agreement with those of the key participants in their ensuing earth lives, have chosen and agreed to support each other with the difficulties they experience such as blindness, illness and death. In the conrtext of our souls being infinite in nature, the experiences and cost of our brief human lives is not so insurmountable in nature against the lessons they may learn during each life, this view is acceptable if the soul has so chosen. I feel a great affinity with this book because it empowers the souls who otherwise may appear to be victims blighted by lifes cruelties - Instead they are presented as souls persuing by agreement with their companion souls such as myself the challenges of lifes hardships and death as a method of soul learning to develop greater compassion and love for all beings. ''Earth primarily serves the function of teaching you to let go of fear and (to) love unconditionally'' Spirit Guide as channeled by the Medium Staci Wells. In such a remarkable universe that we exist within, this view presents a wider outlook of an intrinsically loving Creator who supports us in co-creating our own paths of spiritual evolution.

Best book

This is an excellent book that introduces new thinking behind the things that happen in our lives. I had visions of a little girl that I would have someday every since high school. When I had cancer at 27 and was told that I would never be able to have children, I still had visions of this little girl. I kept getting the name Sara, as though that would be her name. However, the years passes and I had not found her. But when I turned 50 a felt an overwhelming need to go back to the place I was raised. I kept felling like there was someone very important I would miss if I didn't go back and I knew that it would be very bad for that person if I wasn't there. It was as if we had an appointment to meet. After I moved back home I started feeling the need to be a foster parent. I did relief care for a one year old. The minute I opened the door and saw her I knew that was her. She seemed to know me too. When my mother came over and saw her they immediately bonded too. My mother said, with a big smile on her face, why you got the child that I always thought I would have. Look at her she knows me. Both had big smiles on there faces. Due to neglect it that foster home she was placed with me at thirteen months old. At two and half she asked me why her name wasn't Sara. She said she thought her name was sunspot to be Sara. I now know God was telling me that he would send her to me but she would come in my old age like Sara in the Bible. Reading this book just confirmed things I has felt and suspected before and I am glad to know that I am not the only one who has had similar experiences. I believe that God can do many things through our dreams and our guides can help up end up where we are meant to be if we listen to our dreams, our feelings and our sixth sense. I pray and hope that he guides me to be the best parent I can be to her and that I set her on the right path to find her purpose in life. Although, I am not an avid reader, I did see that book on amazon and was intrigued. To add even more amazement to my story; I am a CPA and received an e-mail from someone who was moving to my area and was referred to me through a mutual friend. When his information was dropped off to me I sat dawn with the person who brought it to me and started asking questions about what he did and if he ever did regression hypnosis. The answer was yes and he has written several books about his research. They then showed me a picture of the cover of his book and I was amazed that I had read it, really enjoyed it and felt like it had confirmed things that had happened in my life. Just before I met the author I got DNA results back on my adopted daughter and found out she is a decedent of my great grand mother's uncle. What are the chances that a family four generations back that, lived in eastern Kentucky, would find their way to Ohio and settle within 10 miles of each other. Her mother was only 15 when she was born and just couldn't take care of her. We didn't know each other and yet her child was placed with me to adopt. What are the odds of the author of one of maybe 2 books I have read in the last year contacting me to do his work. I do believe that we do plan our lives and that things happen for a reason. Why did I have cancer and not be able to have children? Maybe because God wanted to be sure that I would go looking for the child he meant me to have when she came into the world. Had I had my own I wouldn't have been looking for her and If I hadn't gotten her I think her outcome would have been very different that what it is going to be now.
