Very flavorful!

I thought that truffle pate might be too oily but this has much more truffle than oil, which is a good quality to have! White truffle has a different flavor than black truffle and, though I prefer black truffle because of the outer crunchies, this is good quality white truffle pate especially for this price point. If you have never had truffle before then you may be put off or surprised by it's scent when you first open it but if you are a truffle lover, you'll end up loving the smell of true, genuine truffle. This is genuine white truffle and you can tell so by the smell and taste. I like that the company doesn't add too many ingredients which can overpower or change the unique taste of the truffle, which is wonderful as it is on it's own. I prefer the sliced truffles in a jar over this pate but this is a lovely alternative and appetizer for a dinner party to offer on a small spoon. You only need a small amount because the taste is big! Too much can overwhelm the palate. There is some texture to this so it's not a puree or hard pate. You could put a caviar spoon in the jar and it will give you just enough flavor and texture to enjoy. There isn't any grittiness but it's not unnaturally smooth either. It's similar to taking a jar of minced truffle and mashing it, finely, by hand. I like the texture and taste. The only thing I miss is the black crunchy pieces you get from a black truffle but I knew I was buying white truffle and, therefore, I wouldn't fault the company for that!

Wasn’t very strong

This is falsely advertising, 5% white Truffles. Mostly mushrooms, and then of course its not returnable .

I made some dry aged ribeyes and served it with this on the side. Huge hit! It tastes wonderful with a perfectly seared steak. Would give it 5 stars, but, not enough for the money.

Taste good

It is expensive item but their packaging is bad , oil is everywhere, they don’t seal properly. And they don’t accept return or replace .

Taste of this truffle doesn’t strong as the ones I tried before. Not as good as I expected.

Eigentlich kann mit Konserven nicht viel passieren auch nach langer Zeit nicht, deshalb habe ich sie trotzdem probiert und sie ist geschmacklich gut. Mit Vorsicht verwenden, aber das versteht sich. Aber ich finde es eine echte Frechheit, so ein relativ teures Produkt ohne Hinweis oder ähnliches zu versenden, welches ein ganzes Jahr über das MHD hinaus war (siehe Foto). Also Fazit, Paste gut Versender nicht.
