Conductive gel for use with microcurrent facial devices, saves time, highly suitable for mature skin
This is a conductive gel for use with microcurrent facial toning devices. It enables the microcurrent to flow smoothly on clean skin. Cleans the face first and rinse to remove any oil products, then apply a thin layer of gel. Unlike most products on the market, this one does not have to be wiped off after use. Instead, it works as a salon-type serum, delivering moisture to the surface of the skin. Those with very young skins might find it does not dry adequately, but on mature skins it soaks right in, meaning that in a hurry, you could put a little moisturiser or just powder straight over the top and go out. However, remember this is not for the eye area and so a dab of additional eye cream would be needed. Will be re-purchasing as it saves time and moisturises, compared to standard gels, especially on mature skins.

Price
Great gel at a very competitive price.

Dries relatively quicly, but pleasant to use
I'm using it with my Ziip device, and like the fact it's a leave in formula. It does dry faster than the original gels though - so it would be a struggle in longer treatments. (I've heard some solve this by spraying some water mid-way, but haven't tried it myself.) Good for the short treatments though! A tiny bit sticky if you leave it on post treatment, but I don't mind.

Sticky gel
Quite sticky and dries up quickly. I have to spray fresh water quite often for the gel to be properly conductive.

Really good gel.
This gel is really good and has a great texture. It goes on well before conductive treatment and leaves my face feeling lovely.

Save yourself - this stuff burns skin and wrecks devices!
I've been using Rio face lift devices for over 12 years, and have tried many different conductive gels - and this is hands down THE WORST! I've been using this gel for a couple of weeks, and my skin has got progressively worse, to the point now that it's become super sensitive, raw, and feeling bumpy on the surface - almost like it's been burned. The 'delicate fragrance' is super strong, and leaves me sneezing and my eyes watering like I've got hay fever - this gel was quite pricey, so I had been determined to stick with it and allow my skin (and eyes) to adjust - but just a few weeks in I have to admit defeat, and am now working to repair the damage done. Even more startling is the corrosion this gel has caused to the contacts on my device - over the past couple of weeks the surface has begun to taint and wear off, and I'm now facing having to replace a very expensive device that's barely a year old - I've never seen this kind of damage to a machine before, and it makes me wonder if I got a dodgy batch of gel? It's certainly put me off trying anything from this brand again - I won't risk my skin or my money. I am returning for a refund - though annoyingly I now have to pay postage to send them back!
