Worked a treat - amazed how much gunk came out in the water. Had heard in some reviews their Vertuo hadn’t accepted these when starting the clean cycle, but worked absolutely fine for me. x4 in a pack which isn’t too bad for the price, should last about four months (one per month). Quality cleaning and easy enough to use. Only thing to note is these clean the insides of your machine out, but don’t de-limescale so you do still need to use a descaler (either from Nespresso or third party) in addition to this product. I’m surprised Nespresso don’t sell their own cleaning for the inner workings, but these do the trick nicely.

This product is amazing! I had already run a cleaning programme immediately before I used this product as I wanted to see what the product did above and beyond the standard cleaning cycle. When I used it, the water was even dirtier and a lot more coffee residue came out of the machine than when I ran the cleaning cycle beforehand. Highly recommend and will definitely keep using these.

Did not work in my Nespresso but just transferred to a universal capsule I had.

Does not work. Machine (Vertuo Pop) made loud noise and this garbage product then resulted in the machine breaking It now doesn’t recognise ANY pod and won’t start. I’d demand a replacement of my coffee machine but luckily for you you’re not liable are you? Your subtext you hide makes you immune despite marketing this for a product it IS NOT BLOODY SUITED FOR

These cleaning pods are incredible! I’ve always run the cleaning cycle with just water a few times a month to try and keep my machine clean. I just heard about these pods and tried them thinking my machine wouldn’t be too dirty. The colour of the water after the first cleaning pod was so dark brown it could have passed as a coffee! The rinse cycle after was still pretty brown so I used a second pod. Still more colour in the water but the rinse cycle after was almost clear. I’ll be using these once a month to keep the machine clean. If you haven’t used one before, run 2 cleaning pods one after the other as there will be so much build up! One thing to note is these are cleaning pods not descaler so you will still need to descale your machine as needed. The instructions I received in the box have the cleaning instructions on one side and descaling instructions on the other which was confusing. I think this could be what caused people in other reviews to descale using the cleaning pod and potentially damage their machines.

This product works and has different purpose than descaling. This is not for descaling this is in addition to descaling. I saw lots of negative review because they were using it in place of descaling. My one year old Nespresso virtuoso plus was pouring out weak watery coffee and noticed weak water flow. Despite descaling multiple times and rinsing cycle few times it didn’t change. I was about to send the machine back to espresso for repair. However, as a last ditch effort and after extensive research I asked ChatGPT which suggested I use cleaning capsules. Do decided to try this capsule and it worked like a miracle. After using just one of this capsule and rinsing the machine my coffee tasted just as good as the day I bought the machine. What I learned from AI is that descaling just dissolves limescale mineral buildup in: • the heating element • internal water lines Whereas Cleaning Capsule is like a soap-and-scrub for the brew head and coffee pathway. • It cleans the front end: the nozzle area, the spout, and the surfaces coffee passes through after brewing. • Caffenu capsules contain a foaming detergent that breaks down coffee oils, sticky residue, and flavored coffee build-up. These residues cause: • bitter or burnt flavor • slow or messy and weak flow of coffee • brown gunk around the spout I bought and used this capsule and now my coffee tastes great just like it was when I bought new machine.
