It works great! The band is tight enough to keep water from coming through, maybe a little too tight, depending on where you place it. I suggest placing just right before the hair line so it’s not pushing your little one’s forehead too much.I love how you can wear it two different ways and you can adjust the band to just about any size whether you have 1-year-old or 5 year old.I got this for my almost 5 year old and she looked adorable with it on, like a little flower.The adjustable band has a convenient snap in button kind of like the back of a baseball cap, and the material keeps it nicely in place so it doesn’t go undone while washing or rinsing.Overall, I think it’s great quality and best bang for your buck!

It's a pain to get on the head at first and I did pull a little hair unfortunately I'm just glad I tried with my 6&1/2 year old before my 2 year old to see what I was working with. She was mad at me for the hair pull when trying to get it fastened but after I poured the first cup of water over her and her face didn't get wet she forgot all about it and was beyond thrilled! So this product is definitely worth it if you have a little who gives you a heck of a time about hair washing, now it's so easy I absolutely love it and so does she 👍🎉😃

My daughter likes this product. It keeps the water out of her face and she feels more comfortable keeping her eyes open during wash time. Adjustable for different sized heads.

It slides down significantly once you start applying shampoo. I had to continuously lift it up or adjust it. Additionally, it left a mark on my daughter's forehead from the adjustments.

Convenient

Adjusting the straps to get the fit correct on my nearly 4 year old kiddo's head (lots of curly hair) was pretty frustrating for me and painful for him - BUT! Once I got it, he looked ABSOLUTELY adorable in it, thought it was very comfortable and enjoyed playing in the tub while I shampooed up his head. Not ONE drop in his face while washing or rinsing. When I tell you this was such a huge mom win for me at an incredible price... Worth every cent. Seriously. Buy it. He just recently got comfortable having his hair washed but he always dreads it and he enjoyed it this time. It even helped him feel brave enough to lie down on his back and let me massage his head in the water to remove very stubborn sand and debris from play. He's NEVER been comfortable doing this for me so we never have, and once I coaxed and encouraged him, he relaxed and felt protected because of the water guard...we came up with a cute name for it and I can't remember what it was. I no longer dread washing his hair and neither does he! Love this product and will recommend to friends
